Don't see anything too wrong with the hand, we just gotta roll with it when they shove.

As for sizing, could go a little larger pre, flop is fine, turn I think I prefer lower frequency/higher sizing (leave less money behind when the inevitable scare card hits) but I wouldn't swear by it.

As for sizing, could go a little larger pre...

I'm curious why you say this, since Hero raised >3x and has a monster. I actually thought the raise was a bit too large, since we really don't want the LAG throwing away his marginal hands to the raise.

Given that he is a LAG, there's no way I'm folding to the shove, since he could easily be pushing a combo draw like 98s/87s/88 as well possible flush draws. If he has a set, then good for him.

My standard is at least 1.5p OOP, especially over 150bbs deep, which is over 4x.

"LAG" can mean a million things so I don't know if I feel comfortable splitting our range right from the first branch of the tree, but if you have success making a teaser size against certain players with your nutted range, far be it from me to get between you and your explo.

Sorry for the late reply.

I called his all-in and I don't remember the river, but it was inconsequential.

Villain showed 8h 5h.

More pre, less flop, check turn and prob c/r jam

This is a sign that you can go bigger pre - but even as a default I'd make it at least 80.

This leaves a lower SPR postflop, and you can even jam some wetter turns like this one. Sure you'll run into the nuts sometimes, but the amount of equity you deny more than makes up for it.

Agree with others - make it $80-$100 pre.

I usually check flop as the PFR when heads-up and IP. I'd c-bet more against a passive V, check more against a LAG.

Turn is a tough spot. V's line doesn't make a ton of sense. Against a LAG, I probably call it off, but not fist pumping to get it in here.

Sorry, I meant HU and OOP, not IP.
