Bubble Line Check 2 Hands
Wondering if these are OK ... both ended up being super lucky, but wondering if I should have been more conservative in these spots. There were about 10 players til bubble. No reads on the JJ vs QQ hand, and I just jammed because I needed to chip up in the 66 hand & couldn't really see any other option except to jam or fold.

10 away from the bubble out of how many?
Big difference in terms of how close you are to the bubble if you're 10 away with 20 paid vs. 10 away with 200 paid.

39 paid. Sorry - I'm just now learning MTTs ... mainly play cash but want to start playing more tournaments or at least be capable.
About 4K for first and 39th place was like $218
They're both fine
Easy ship for hand one and easy call for hand two, nice hands!
Thanks guys. I think I blundered in the end. Probably should have just folded ... seems like people don't bluff much / play more passively when nobody has reads on each other unless they're clearly someone going wild. I think my equity is not so good even mixing in a few semi-bluffs/weaker value hands, especially considering ICM ... haven't run it yet though.
Went out in 18th.

I liked the first two hands even though you ended up behind preflop. I will always be jamming with 66 and <15 blinds UTG. The JJ hand Villain can have AK/AQ/AJ even so its an all in spot with under 25 blinds.
The last hand is a disaster not because BB won't bluff in that spot but its the sizing that makes it strange. Your sizing is good because the flop favors BB range (though I will often make it 14,000 again). Once BB raises 6.3x its a fold for me. Its unclear if BB is bluffing or not because it is a polarizing size but given the possible sets and two pairs I would probably fold. With flush draw potential it could be a double draw kind of hand but why wouldn't 44,000 be the raise size if Villain wanted to induce folds? Also we block some flush draws which makes it more likely it is a strong hand.
3rd hand, the big checkraise: Is this some kind of high stakes dynamics? I never see this 6x checkraises OTF on lowstakes (unless of course it is an all in) and can't remember seing it either in the relatively few midstakes MTT:s I mix in.

This is from a ring fenced site. A daily $100 deep stack, I got in via a satellite. I’m actually doing pretty damn good at satellites but falling short in all formats for actual money 😂
