Omaha 4 5 6 card

Ive been playing a lot more Omaha lately and was wanting to advice or tips for any more experienced players as im relatively new to the game and trying to improve.

How are we to vary our game / strategy when playing 4 / 5 / 6 cards.

what are some of the better hands to player apart from AAxx and 4/5 connecting cards

any other advice will be appreciated

Imo 5/6card are somehwhat similar but both are pretty far from 4c. The thresholds and equilibriums between 4c and 5c alone are pretty large. Some of the frequencies are the same (example hu rfi/defend and 3b similar) but strategies can be quite different in theory land at least.

Good example is in 4c we're happy to pot pot pot repot all day pre and get the money in 200/100times whereas in 5c/6c we can often be at an equity disadvantage getting it in w/ weak AA hu and moreso multiway.

Value of KK goes down significantly between 4c and 5c as well as the Khi flush.

In 5c/6c I'd think you'd really want to focus on smooth nutted combos. Gaps are bad in every game but can be far more costly when everyone gets more cards. Would also lean overfolding multiway postflop in 5c/6c vs 4c.

Basically like focusing on stronger well connected rundowns vs mid even decently connected ones. Example QJT97ss vs J8765ds type combos. Goal is to avoid getting fake coolered in spots where a number of flops are fairly shared.
