English Premier League 2024-25
2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win
I believe this is tier seven of English football. You can see why so many attend given the elite level banter on offer.
I used to go and watch Hendon FC a bunch when I lived in North London, believe they were in the Isthmian League at the time. Absolutely quality.
Was about a fiver to get in, not only did the teams switch ends at half time but loads of the fans do too so you're always by the goal you're attacking, and you stop at the clubhouse en route to get a pint in an actual glass and maybe a game of pool.
The crowd are ****ing hilarious too. 10/10 would snap go to lower league football again if I ever move back to UK.
The fans switching ends thing goes on in much higher divisions.
We used to do the same at Aldershot Town when they were in Leagie 1 (the old Div 3 at the time). The oppo keepers always hated it when they thought they'd gotten away from you for the second half only for us to give them a wave when they came back out after half time.
A source close to Boehly’s side described Eghbali as being “obsessed with player trading”. — One person familiar with Clearlake’s thinking disputes this.
Uh oh Odegaard carried off injured in the Norway game, hopefully not serious
It didn't look good, potentially no Odegard or Rice for spuds game
Ban international breaks
finally after 2 seasons arse is again RAVAGED by injuries
He walked off with support and they said afterwards its a "sprain" so I am taking from that there's no fracture. Complete guess from me who has absolutely 0 medical knowledge but I don't think its as bad as Arsenal social media fear.
International breaks for pointless tournaments should definitely be banned either way.
International breaks for pointless tournaments should definitely be banned either way.
why ban them?
international megastars simply need to make the business decision not to participate
countries have plenty of blokes ready to suit up and get valuable experience while representing their countries
Don't get the talk of banning international break. This implies that UEFA/FIFA would sit around at a table for a meeting and would somehow end up deciding "guys you know what let's not milk every single $$$ and give up our fixtures"
There will be more not less. What we really need is people to stop giving a crap and watch friendlies/nations league because as long as it's economically positive for them, it will never stop
I'm worried for spurs lads. What type of excuses will they have when we style on them with our B squad?
We have ours ready
Lego Pep signs new deal until 2027
kick someones kneecaps out of the stadium = 2 match ban
make a bad joke = 12 games ban
seems only right
No excuses sometimes you lose football matches especially to better teams, but at the very least I won't be saying "style on" so think I'm the clear winner there.
Sigh I wanted to fit in with the kids I deserve this
It's sad that this doesn't get me excited one bit.
City are too good on and off the pitch
Massive nothing burger incoming
What a moment.
I feel like arteta is going to go full football terrorist and play a disgusting low block and it's going to be the most miserable watch.
I have no idea how arsenal are going to line up. There are rumours that van de ven and solanke are risks to be out.
