[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
Reading the comments on here and I'm glad I gave up playing on this dumpster fire of a site. It's live poker for me until BetMGM opens in NV.
random but the card strike thing disappeared from the top of my cash tables? anybody else
I am heading back home in 2 weeks and thinking of buying mac because my old laptop is dying -
Is anyone grinding WSOP with Mac Air?
Is Mac OS any better or worse than windows for this site?
Mac has worked for me and is probably the better option unless the latest fix for Windows was mostly successful.

Same. Went and played live 1/2 for a few days after a long layoff and forgot how profitable it is. Timed rake is a game changer. WSOP needs competition. I wish Ultimate Poker was still around. Horrible software but awesome team.
They removed it from the tables, which maybe helped with the stability/crashes for some people, but it's still running in the background. You can check your card strike bonuses in the My Bonuses section.

Ohhh I see.. yea crashed looks to be fixed..but mine player tag is still changing..might be due to poor internet connection

I crushed ultimate poker. There was enough action to keep it going. I was shocked when they got rid of it. It was a dumb name because people confused it was Ultimate Bet. Why not call it Stations poker?

Half the fun was seeing how close you were/what cards you needed when you got close and the wheel spins. They removed those but now just show what you’ve won? Hard to trust that system imo
Finally got software working on my Windows 10 after doing an update. Running smooth so far.
Fwiw, cardstrike was annoying and I'm glad it's gone. I have enough going on multi tabling to need to know when to reset cards and it's not like anyone wins anything except a very rare $5 or $20. I doubt recreational players cared about it.

I assume part of the reason for having it was for it to keep players hanging around those extra hands until the end. It defeats the purpose just randomly popping up in the account where recs won't even know to look or what it is.

Agreed. They should just take whatever % rakeback we were getting from card strike and put it into normal rakeback or bonuses or something.
On a trip to Tahoe and I tried to fire up some wsop (I’m at Caesar’s property on Nevada side) but it won’t let me log in on my MacBook. An error about being near the border and not being able to verify. It works on my phone tho. Anyone know how to bypass this? Would rather play on my laptop
Pretty convinced at this point that there's rampant cheating (more likely than collusion .... software assistance) in all of the PLO and NL games at any reasonable limit (1-2 and above). Its practically impossible to play less than 60 hands/hr online. Think about what that means in actuality, but its happening constantly. I guess it doesn't matter and no one's really gonna take this post terribly seriously.... and I'll continue to play anyway.... but I dont see how its possible that every table can possibly be this slow organically.
I've been unable to play online for 6 months now thanks to work, but I'll let you know my opinion on the PLO games when I return to Vegas in the middle of October. I've been studying off the table so we'll see if I still remember how to play PLO.
Same here. Not good for my tilt. Gotta turn that calming music up louder, I suppose.
Hello everyone,
I apologize for not doing my own homework, but I do not have time to catch up on the entire thread and I have not been around in a long time.
Is there a respected member of the community who has been keeping receipts since the launch of the new client at the start of June? Perhaps with tournament IDs where multiple players disconnected simultaneously that can't be blamed on player connectivity issues?
I'd like to have a quick private chat if someone has been and is willing. Preferably off 2+2. I doubt my username means anything here anymore, but I was a regular in the 40/80 and 100/200 limit games at the Bellagio and can find a friend in common for a vouch on a phone number trade.
the software is much slower for me since the update. it lags all the time and crashes at 4 tables constantly
I appreciate the feedback... and I understand the software sucks... but this isn't a software issue.
There are multiple, multi-tabling, high limit regs who literally can't find the buttons to the tune of (tonight) 37 hands/hour at 2-5 PLO. Seriously... can everyone just take a minute and close their eyes and think about what 2 minutes per hand means in practice... ONLINE. There's no hand shuffle. No one is waiting for the machine.
Just play a hand with me in your mind and try to get to 2 minutes, ONLINE.... with most pots non-multi way. Try to do it.... and tell me if you can do it, LOL. Anyway, it is what it is.... but i don't buy it. It doesn't matter... nothing would be done about it anyway... and its likely not new.
Has anyone noticed since the update that the winning hand doesn't reveal 'properly' and that there's a massive delay in almost every instance waiting to find out which player has the winner? Is there a fix to this.... or am i the only one experiencing this? It's exceptionally annoying.
I agree, you think they're going to much and then you find out your opponent won. It's like they did on purpose to increase the suspense.

I have the same experience with PLO.. but in NLH there is no delay.. it's been like that for a while now..
Is anyone having trouble logging in right now? I log in and I get an error -> contact support.
