Really, I love/hate tournaments.
I hate how luck-based they are, but at the same time that's what draws in clueless people who are 100x worse than at cash games.
yeah last time i was in kc i went to play some nl cash and they asked me if i wanted to late reg for the $100 tourney they had going and despite knowing the rake would be insane i snap accepted because i knew how bad the pool was and they did not disapoint
obviously lost when the chip leader shoving blind every hand has his 48o crack my AQs but what you gonna do?

I played a $60 daily (or something like that) in Vegas back in 2016 or so. My word. Worst player pool ever. I, of course, did not cash lol.
I got one villain all in way behind 3 times. He managed to chop all 3. (Example: I 3bet him with AQss. He calls. Flop is A-Q-x. He open jams with AJ. Turn K. River K.) He then doesn't jam over me when he should have when we were in the final 7 and lets the BB in cheap who eliminates us both.
Easily one of the most mind-numbingly annoying sessions of poker ever for me.
so I got my first actual ban yesterday. I noticed that one of Limon's posts in his AMA thread didn't load so I asked "did the botmod get it". And I got the ban for "questioning the mod bot". 😃

that's wild the bot also bans now - idk how legit but max said in the thread that he set it up for gpt to automoderate it and it's pretty amazing how it instaneously ninja delets like 1/4 of my posts there - and i'm not even crossing any lines nor insulting him, it just sometimes randomly decides "nope"

Personally, if I had 25% of my posts deleted, I'd question whether I had a good grasp of what "the line" was. It isn't like Max is in the same galaxy as Rapini was.
He gave me a warning about posting dummy posts when the last post in the thread had been auto-deleted, making it continually showing up in my control panel as unread. That's Rapini-level dickery.

That is the same sort of problem I asked about - posts that appear in the thread list but are not there. I just asked if something had been deleted. And the mod bot took that as criticizing the bot so it banned me 😀. So now I just pretend there is not an issue there.
