I think the answer to all the recent questions are... who cares. As long as it's not a place that's obviously one or another, there's no harm. I encourage everyone to post more vs less. It's not like this or the other thread are overflowing with activity.

Then put it all in one spot. The whole idea is so you don't have to read unnecessary posts for what you are looking for.

previously thought of vegas casual as well under a hundred per person pre drinks
not quite sure how to adjust for current consumer market prices

the food looks ossum, but $325 to $499 pp before tax and tip seems like insane pricing and would rule me out.

Idc that I can afford it, I'd still just be thinking about the extra pair of Jordan's or jeans I could buy if I went to another fine dining place instead.

Btw, this works both ways. Apparently my fine dining was too expensive?

I have always used my gfs as indicator of how fine the fine dining experience will be . the longer and more they take to dress up , the fancier it will be (unless it was going to a club restaurant )

Here’s some true casual dining. The pastrami burger special at Yukon pizza is incredible, their burgers are always some of the best in town. Great lemon pepper wings too. $34 total with a couple sodas.

That looks ossum

wasn't trying to cause an outrage.
but we went from one extreme (Kroger deli) to a 6 course meal for $236 (the other extreme) in consecutive reviews

have had chilaquiles at like 100 different restaurants (most all make it differently somehow) , but the one at Cosmo China poblano ranks top 10 for me.. a little better than casa de desayuno.

usually go with the red sauce but green is really good here and awesome use of resort credits .

fish tacos pretty good too.

100%. And I just dont want to discourage people from posting.

Strip casual is different.
I’ve spent close to $100 on myself at Holsteins. App, beer, burger, and fries. Holsteins had a (near? Over?) $100 burger also I believe.
Price point just doesn’t determine “casual” was my only point. And for people who regularly do “fine dining” there’s a lot of nice (and expensive) restaurants that aren’t “fine dining.”

I get randall’s point too.

Toca pro tip - if you get the steak tacos (or any steak really) ask for a side of wasabi. It’s the legit fresh kind and goes perfectly with the tacos.

I would say if someone told you "I really want fine dining tonight" and you took them to Toca they would be nonplussed. Conversely if they said "I don't want anything fancy, more casual" and you took them there, it would be fine.

Official ruling - NO FOUL. And also I want to go to Toca and also Yukon gyaattt

Would I have to make a reservation to go to Toca?

how much certainty do you demand in your life if at all

Certainty is a bigger myth than security.

show up as a single and i’m sure you’ll get a seat

Anyone been here before? Someone just recommended it to us and we might go next week.

Edit: after reading through the reviews, maybe not haha.

Pastry shot from Daily Bread in Summerlin. TIL the owner/chef there won season 12 of Hell’s Kitchen. Now I know why everything there is so good.

I want one of those foot long snausages!

Ahh, food 😀

We have not been to Vegas for 12 years maybe, and going for NAPT.

Since we are usually on the strip, don't venture often too far away but looking at casino buffets, where used to love going for crab, not realistic now.

Don't want to overpay and looking for something reasonable that is easy to get to so some of the places here look worthwhile to check out, thanks.
