I'm not a big "integrity of the Game" guy, but Rose should never be in the HOF. His on the field performance is in the record books. That's all he gets.

The great Luis Tiant. I saw him pitch at Fenway in the first time I was there. During his windup, he would look away from the plate, sometimes to dead center. Years later I ran into him at the local grocery store where he was signing books. A real gentleman and snazzy dresser.

He was a great baseball player in all aspects of the game. Full tilt all the time. He should be in the HOF. But the sycophantic moralizing crybabies will do everything they can to still keep him out.

I loved that crazy windup. On a related note, the Red Sox Jose Iglesias is having a great post season. For the Mets.

Former member of super boy band One Direction, Payne died after falling from a 3rd floor hotel balcony in Argentina.
