Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

He seemed genuinely happy with winning $20 after playing all day in his latest video. I think he's content to just break even in poker, as long as he gets his free food and discounted hotel rooms. His main goals are to avoid getting wrecked in poker at all cost and to live as cheaply as humanly possible.

I agree. After "discovering" a real job, I think he's content to break even at poker. Any profit is a bonus. He's really only playing for the tier credits, which is why he's so obsessed with piling up the hours. That and the possibility of a high hand jackpot.

Pman is back !!

So let's quit our job to try and grind.

"having a job just isn't for me"

Seriously, has this guy quit or been fired from his dealer job at the Westgate??

Pman's ideal life is that of a house cat. He's literally excited for his trip to Ohio to see family and relax and do nothing from his hectic life in Vegas of relaxing and doing nothing.

That's like when a cat wakes up from a long nap, gets up and moves to the next room to lie down and nap again.

Pman is proof you shouldn't give your kid a super easy life.
Hes absolutely no motivation to do anything.
Almost 30 years old and still acting like a 12 year old.

Don't be giving Rice any ideas, he's bad enough as it is.

Also, I'm surprised Rice hasn't tried to 'live' out of Planet Fitness.
Plenty of people do.

Yeah, that seem to be a popular one. They basically live at Planet Fitness or does everything there like showering, toilet, brushing teeth, hanging at the couch surfring++.

Nomad is absolutely a solid candidate for this lifestyle.

Doing so would be +EV for him, if he actually started using the gym as well.

What a week Rice had, capped off by today's insight into how meaningless each session truly is. In case you didn't realize yet you can play great and lose or you can make a ton of mistakes and win.

Thank you sir for clearing that up for me.

This.
I remember a view years ago playing with a guy in his 60s or 70s I had played with a bunch and he said something to the effect of still having to do everything for his kids who were in their 30s. On cue a little while later his son texts him for money. I tell him not to give him any he's gotta learn to make his own money. He shakes his head and totally dejected says "it's too late,it's just too late".

Quite groundbreaking information. Who would have guessed an 8 hour live session isn't a large sample size? Thanks Diesel.

Pman gonna make it this time; the grind starts now!!!

Only question is does he make it to zero faster than last time or not.

Lol watched the recent Pman video, man he talks so much BS out of his ass. Enjoying life one day at a time, i want my freedom and my happiness,i dont want to work i want to be a pokerplayer yada yada.

Its just one problem or lets say a myriad of problems: in order to "be a pokerplayer" or lets say pay your bills with poker you need to be a winning player over time. And you need to be able to actually play solid volume. And you need to not tilt. And you need to not go off degening in the pits.

And to get good enough to be a winning player, you have to do a lot of work off the table. It's not like you just show up, play 8 hours and print money. Pman is completely delusional. He wants to play poker for a living cause he thinks it's easy and not a lot of work.

He's good enough; just has to put that grind on and maybe get a couple good coaches. Plenty of sleep, hydration and a good diet will ensure he is laser focused.

You don't have to do a lot of work off the table to beat $1/2 and $1/3. It might increase your WR slightly but you're playing against mouth breathers who play ATC. Just be able to read the board and fold when these passive opponents start getting aggressive.

Same, I am way to old to listen to a giddy girl.

Maybe a normal person doesn’t need that much work, but Pman somehow has a whale win (loss) rate. The video he posted has him losing something like 50bb/100 hands and that’s after getting coaching. He isn’t close to being a winning player, there is something fundamentally off in his game.

Of course you need to work at 1/2 and 1/3. There is so little money on the table. I play 5/10+. I find it easier at upper levels bc the margins are bigger. Ones ability to recover from an early loss at lower stakes is near impossible compared to higher stakes. Think Timmy and Rice and this will make sense.

Sure if you don't play in the right games.

pmanchild lol

his view of what's normal is so warped by his enabling dad, he genuinely believes that he's not leeching because he pays for his own food and weed. Having a dad that buys you a condo and gives you a monthly living expenses allowance is normal to him so he thinks everyone else is like that too.
