Pman is proof you shouldn't give your kid a super easy life.
Hes absolutely no motivation to do anything.
Almost 30 years old and still acting like a 12 year old.

His dad seems like a very nice person and if he has the means to help out his son then I see nothing wrong with that either. The problem is he is destroying his sons life by enabling his gambling addiction and allowing him to never be uncomfortable and not growing up.

"I dont want go go to college, i dont want a job, daddy daddy wahh wahhh i need money dadddyyy"

-pmanchild probably

Pdad should have cut him off along time ago and got him the f away from vegas as it's clear he should not be gambling in any way.

Pmanchild must have epic tantrums, when the cameras are off he must act like cartman and demands another 10k at a time and the dad just sighs and wires over more money everytime he goes busto.

He worked for 2 months and likely didn't even get full time hours, how much could he have saved?

Guaranteed he tantrumed his way to getting more gambling money sent to him by his dad.

We should all be thankful for his daddy. He keeps the poker economy flowing for short period of times.

As a parent while I am happy my kids are OK I gladly help them whenever they ask. With two grandsons I am lucky my expenses are more and I can do it.

If I was a billionaire I'd give them what ever they needed.

This is on the kid. Not the dad

Hypothetically if PChild is cut off and evicted from his free condo he would then be a Nomad and he would still be forced by economic condition to be in Vegas to live in hotels since Vegas is the epicenter of the Nomadic Universe since it has the cheapest hotel rates mostly in the Summer and Winter (excluding weekends and F1). PChild would have to apply for the Wyndham Business credit card before being cut off hopefully his dad can cosign for him (while keeping the minimal credit limit) so he will get waived resort fees.

PChild will have to change his style of play to be more Nit like and fold except for pocket Aces or three of a kind when at Red Rock. Although his main goals should be to get his 150 MGM hours in and promos at Horseshoe.

Another possibility for Pchild is to go to Laughlin for the weekends to avoid Vegas weekend rates. It is only about 100 miles so it will reduce wear and tear to keep vehicle upkeep costs lower.

Or PChild would have to be an disciple of ELD and go to Council Bluffs for $20 per night when the rates get too high or live in the airport, etc and/or get on EBT and live in the park as described by Stratosphere Nomad.

It's both. This is what happens when you do everything for your kids and enable their laziness.

There's also a big difference bw setting them up to succeed if they put in work and just being an ATM.

If you were a billionaire you'd have every right to buy your kids everything they want but we both know what they'd turn into.

So spoiling kids is on the kid?

Pman is a disaster bc he was/is spoiled. He has no work ethic, survival skills and is overall weak bc his dad spoiled him. Totally on the parent.

At some point you want your independence as a young man. You go to college, learn life lessons, graduate and want to make it on your own.

It's on the kid.

He seems perfectly happy to want to be completely dependent under a masquerade of independence.

They’re both at fault.

What do these loser 20-30-somethings do when the money tree dies?

But they wont if you crippled them with overindulgence. Why work if Dad and Mom hand cash to you for no reason?

Terrible parenting! Teach them not worship them!

Pman in the comments section from his last vlog...

"I work, just not "normal" stuff. i video edit, pet sit, and have alot of side hustles. It helps that i have a very low cost of living; rent, wifi, electricity, groceries, all total up to under $1500/mo."

He says he pays rent but only has $1500/month total expenses? He's probably paying the HOA and calling that rent I guess.

Hoa is around $425, so yea he pays dad no rent likely. Maybe dad just owns it and will sell it for profit after Pman finally decides to leave.

Basically Pchild's job is to keep out squatters from taking over an otherwise vacant condo so it can appreciate free of damages.

he prefers to call it a side hustle

another side hustle of his is to regularly call dad for another infusion of "I pay my bills" money

he really is a very enterprising man

Decides to leave? LMAO.

I wouldn't, not if they were abusing drugs and gambling my money away.

If I had any inclination to give them free housing, it wouldn't be in Vegas. It would be in the same town I lived in. Unless I were sick of seeing them.

You can hear the "can't beat the game anymore" tilt in Rice's videos now. Guy never goes to dealer school, passes the easiest of auditions because anyone can get hired to deal a summer series, works for 7 weeks as a dealer, and now spends two videos pointing out dealer errors. I swear I am tempted to find his next location, go, sit at his tables and record every hand history he plays so we could critique him

Players who criticize dealers are the weakest at the table.

Especially when he butchered a hand pretty badly when he was dealing over the summer. Guy playing a tournament exposed his hand with action pending, presumably to try and get a read on his opponent. The opponent protested the hand should be killed (not correct) and Rice smugly accused the guy of “trying to cheat”. Meanwhile, he should’ve called the floor immediately when the hand was exposed and let the floor handle it. Our hero wasn’t even aware that exposing your hand with action pending isn’t allowed under TDA rules and usually results in a penalty of some kind, normally one orbit.

He sees calling the floor as a sign of weakness. I use it to let them be the bad guy and make sure the explanation is perfectly clear. I probably call floor as much as any dealer.

That's exactly what it was.
Both players and him were all wrong and he really didn't want to call the floor.

Like you said let the floor be the bad guy. It's literally their job to make rullings not yours.

Stratosphere Nomad interviews a lizard named Nerfertiti and then reports that he is celibate for two years and plans to remain for the remaining years of his life and that not being attached makes him a stronger Nomad. Moreover he now states he has been couch surfing for free rooms and his ex girlfriend saw his videos and lets him stay at her place periodically.

How can you have a "side hustle" if you don't have a primary hustle? Or is sitting on a couch smoking weed and playing video games considered a hustle now?

Couple things; I spent a portion of the summer playing and dealing in Vegas. Anyone willing to work and decent at the job, can make a solid ~15k over 8wks. If you can deal things other than NLHE you will make a % more. I imagine ANYONE who is at best a breakeven cash game player will have an awakening after dealing poker in Vegas (which is pretty stable if you can get at least 4 shifts after series ends). I have dealt for 10+ years and found it really hard to get full time employment in a poker room despite being better than some of the more “tenured” dealers. It is not surprising that someone hired for summer was offered one or two days, maybe even an on call dealer.

I am losing player who def only plays for recreation and I know itÂ’s very tough for any 1/2 or 1/3 to get by with rake and the rocks/OMC that keep most games going. Anyone saying you donÂ’t have to study, I just disagree. The amount of game selection and casino hopping you would have to do would cost in logistics that will eat up small profits. People are getting better as a whole in 1/3, I watched so many overplayed hands get felted and watched underplayed hands win very little. 1/3 in Vegas is coolers only. Many may disagree but the 8/16 L08 and occasional 15/30 L08 are easily more profitable in Vegas than NLHE if you have the time to play. Mostly because the pots are large enough to overcome rake and the people who play have liquid cash constantly, in the form of retirement/SS. They have nothing better to do, and they never fold.

Even considering weekend rates which never usually crest $200 per night, if you give any action to get weekdays comped and resort fees waived, you can essentially spend $400 a week to stay in decent casino hotels. Any decent apt is close to 1600 without any utilities etc. airbnb may be cheaper but way more restrictions than a casino.

I have a close friend whose situation is similar to pman, he holds down a very basic 9-5 because he has multiple degrees. But time outside of the job is spent on a sports betting app or in the casino playing poker and pit games. He is easily down over a million lifetime, but he has a father who has done very well and invested even better. He lives in a house that the father pays for and will eventually be sold for profit. I have never delved into a convo with him but my honest assessment is that the parent just knows that without helping the kid they would have to deal with the negative outside perspective that they don’t care about the kid (everyone from the outside looking in will side with the son even if he is an adult, especially when you know the parent has plenty money). Also parents with money hang in social circles that deal with this common situation or influence one anothers behavior. One major thing I know is that while gambling is almost always grouped with drugs and alcohol by religious people. It’s usually looked at as a lesser evil by people who aren’t as devout. This person is a sober degen and I think that helps the parents sleep at night, ‘well atleast hes not a drunk or junkie’. I can’t speak on the sobriety of these vloggers obv.

Just in case there was anyone still clueless about how conceited Rice is. Of course he knows he's in the top 1% at everything before he even does it. That's why he's barely breaking even at micro stakes in council bluffs
