As someone who played 6/12 O8 and walked out with $300 profit after two hours without breaking a sweat, I agree.

The local hi low game is basically a Korean peoples retirement home, with a couple black or white guys visiting. Downside is that it can take forever to get in on a table, and the game can break pretty quickly due to this.

Double lol at Diesel choosing poker since pay is affected by how good you are and yet he hardly works on his game and hasn't shown significant improvement in over a decade. If anything, he's gotten worse compared to the player pool that has improved just from all the good free and cheap info from training sites.

It really is amazing the copium Diesel and Pman for that matter have to live their life and think they have it all figured out or that their life isn't a complete train wreck.

After his foray into dealing this summer he is both clueless and looking for the easy buck.

He isn't wrong in how that statement refers to his employment. He was quite happy to deal the tournaments and never really wanted to deal cash games. So yeah the pay is steady.

If you are a cash game dealer it is based on how good you are. Good meaning fast, friendly and competent. But he wants to deal tournaments. He really should try to deal a few of the traveling dealer events. It is perfect for him because you only have to commit to deal to each event separately with no long term commitment. You can deal one event every two months. And then play for five weeks before taking a week's vacation.

I remember a room where I got on the O8 and 1/2 lists when I arrived. Took me an hour to get into the 1/2 game, played a couple 3 hours, and when I checked the O8 list on my way home, I was first on the list.

The Circuit event came to IA when Herbs&Rye was there, so he had his chance.

Very similar demographic in Vegas, except the waitlist for 8/16 moves fast, 4/8 doesn’t (its a rake trap anyway). What you can’t do, as a younger reg, is constantly fry them or win daily. This will cause them to all walk around, or sit out, as to freeze you out of the action. They are always more comfortable exchanging money back and forth all day and lose to the rake. Eventually it makes them easier to play against once they recognize you are a good player, they are usually very nutted on turns and rivers, or drawing to 1/4 at best. There is usually one OMC nut player that you must avoid because one big kill pot and he will lock up your money.

However it is worrysome that the CET rates are getting higher and no more $10 rooms until well into November. The Rio has some $19 deals I see but it is not a good location since it is not on the monorail.

ELD should have covered a live stream of the Tropicana implosion he would have gotten a lot of new viewers and would have been worth the Spirit flight back and no room challenge during implosion.

Nothing like a shot of the OU campus with Diesel’s heavy breathing in the audio. Or earlier in the vlog when he’s fumbling with the camera and left that in.
