Diamond in a Day - CET Total Rewards

Is it still possible to get Diamond in a Day?

I have read about it in the past, just curious.

Can’t speak to the rest, but if you arrive later than they think you will, your room preference may not be available. There have been lots of trips I have taken where I had to change rooms on the second day because I didn’t think to let them know I would be coming late.

It might not be available anyway. If you're running late on the actual day of your arrival you can call them and let the front desk know which might help.

I'm not diamond, but I am only able to book three active reservations in LV at a time at the lowest rate. If I already have three reservations and try to book a fourth, I get the error message and have to take the higher generic rate. I'm guessing this is what's happening with you.

If that's the case, the solution is to cancel one or more of your later reservations until you only have two active LV reservations total. Then you should eventually be able to book again at the lowest possible rate.

I hope this is true. Next week I will be staying in Vegas on a booked trip. After it is over I will retry to book the room later in the year.

What an antiquated system.

Right now my seven star status is effectively suspended but only at my home property. Long story. But I still get room offers at other CET props. Still get my seven star trips and celebration dinners etc. Just no offers at home casino.

Interesting. Based on what I've read I guess they didn't give you an official 'suspension', but they have stopped giving you new offers. I'm very curious about this because I've been trying to abuse the program for the past 4-5 months. I haven't succeeded to the point I wanted to as I sometimes fall back into somewhat heavy play. I have noticed a decline in the offers but not a very steep decline. I was receiving 2500-3000 free play, and now maybe it's 750-1000. At one point I probably had 5 trips of extremely little play, and just pocketing the free play money. It's only August and I have 2 trips in September that I'm hoping to abuse them with. I am starting to play poker tournaments again and that earns very few points and sometimes gobbles up a lot of time. Now that Ceasars no longer has its poker room the poker play will be at Wynn or Palazzo.

Seven stars is by invite, so even if the tier credits meet the criteria, they can still decline to invite. I'll be curious to see if I wind up in that category. I have about 375k in tier credits for 2024 and I think I earned more than half of that in January alone. As an aside, I'm having my 38th or 39th straight losing year in Vegas (From ages 18-56 years old)....and Caesars has got a fair portion of those loses. Barring a major jackpot or poker tournament win, I'm doomed to have a losing year. In 2025, if I go with the ultra-conservative abuse the casino rewards program, maybe I'll have my first winning year. That will be my goal.

Does redeeming Diamond Plus drink vouchers generate a gaming day?

Does redeeming Diamond Plus drink vouchers generate a gaming day?

yes

is there anymore 5x or 10x near the end of the year?

You have to check each property's promotions page to find them. We had one here in council bluffs recently. KC has one in late October. Vegas seems to have even more of them.

If u wait for 10x tier credit day it would cost like 350$ at the table roulette games.

I have the following promo:

NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 5X TIER CREDIT MULTIPLIER
November 13 - 20, 2024 AND December 16 - 27, 2024
Come in and take advantage of these Las Vegas only 5X Tier Credit Multipliers to raise your Tier Status.

I only see these 5x Tier dates left:
10.14.24 - 10.18.24
11.13.24 - 11.20.24
12.16.24 - 12.27.24

Anybody else getting any new 10x dates?

I heard rumors that 4x free drinks might be going away next year with food lounges replacing them. Anybody heard any news lately about that?

Ok, some or all of these dates are Vegas only for me. I found that out in AC this week. Seems like Caesar are slowing the multiplier days down compared to last year.

Anybody see any 10x days ones for Vegas or AC this year?

No tier multiplier days listed at Horseshoe Baltimore 😡

I have a question about a recent Caesars promotion. They have a promotion where someone can get 500 tier credits for signing up new players to the Caesars Rewards program.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I ask because the fine print says it can take up to 45 days to see the rewards.

Normally I get Diamond status easy. It isn't ever a question. However this year life circumstances have taken over. I bought a house, made major renovations to it, moved into it, etc. As a result, I have played far, far less than normal. I am sitting at 10,500 points while knowing I am going to be out of the country for 45 of the remaining days in the year.

It will be much tougher to maintain Diamond status this year.

Ultimately I want to know how hard I need to work at it. Mid to to the end of December, I will be in Vegas with a few people who don't have Caesars Rewards cards. I recommend them, they sign up and boom I am close enough that the sign up bonuses plus minimum play gets me there.

However, they are saying up to 45 days for the bonus to hit the account. So if the bonus doesn't hit until mid to late January (or later), that does me no good.

I could spend lots of time playing and earning Diamond status if I make it a priority, but it will be a chore. Finding the tine will be a stress.

Does anyone have any experience with this promotion? If I have a bunch of people sign up in mid to late December will it hit soon enough to make a difference?

Doesn't your card status stay the same until the end of January? As in, it won't reset until then?

You can use this years celebration dinner until the end of January next year. Does that mean you can’t use next years celebration dinner until February? Or can you use both in January or even both on the same dinner?

Yes. Your card status stays until the end of January, but you can only earn points for the next year's status until December 31st.

Yes. Your card status stays until the end of January, but you can only earn points for the next year's status until December 31st.

Generally the date is the when earned date. Not the date it hits the card.

E.g. Few years age wife earned one of the daily bonuses, earn 5000TC and get 10,000TC bonus. She earned the bonus on New Year eve. When it hit the account few days later it was credited to the prior year.

It has been my experience to be the opposite, but I will admit to not paying close attention. Plus it is Caesars Rewards so who knows.

Anyway, a few years ago when Caesars had a tier multiplier in late December, I played quite a bit of table games. I was already Diamond so I wasn't paying close attention to my points. I know I earned the base points right away (as is normal).

I didn't check my tier status again until early January. In early January I had a few thousand tier points without any January play. I always assumed that these were the multiplier points being credited to my account after the fact.

Again, it was Caesars Rewards so I had no way to identify where the points came from.

Usually, caesars runs an end of year promo where tier credits earned late in a year earn a bonus for the following year

I believe CET runs a program where x% of late year TC are credited to to next year.

I believe CET runs a program where x% of late year TC are credited to to next year.

IIRC they are actually a bonus, plus the regular credits you have coming for this year.

To clarify my question....

It is my experience that points are credited immediately when they are earned. If you play $2/$3 at Caesars (RIP???) You get 34 tier points per hour earned as soon as you leave the table. This extends to daily bonuses (earn X number of points in a gaming day and earn Y extra).

However other type of bonuses take days or even weeks to pay out. The 5X or 10X tier point bonuses often take a while to pay out. If earned at the end If the year the bonuses don't get paid out until the next earning year.

I was wondering where this 500 tier point bonus for signing up new players fell. They make it seem like it is credited as soon as the new player picks up their card, but the fine print says otherwise.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this program yet so I can gauge how much I will need to grind.

I have my answer.

I referred someone to Caesars Rewards 4 days ago. They got their card the same day. I have yet to receive my 500 tier points this means that that the reward is based on when Caesars runs their program in the background and not when it was earned.

Objection, assumes facts not in evidence.

Of course the credits dont show up until they run the background program. Many of their programs, including this one, clearly state the credits don’t show up in real time. That does not mean when they show up they won’t be effective back to the time earned.

This is why how the credits can show up X days later in Jan but your status for 2025 can reflect those credits were earned in 2024. I can’t say with certainty how this bonus works but I can say with absolute certainty, in the past, my wife earned a bonus of TC on a December 31st which bumped her level earned for that year up one. Those TC did not show up for several days. But when they did appear they were effective as of December 31 when earned. I know this because we enjoyed the higher tier level that whole next year.

Certainly Caesar’s may have changed that practice. But your experience that the TC bonus did not show up in real time is certainly not proof they won’t be effective as of date earned, at least for year end reward level earned.
