Definitely a bit of a tangent and I will say that I think you a genuinely good person and certainly a freedom lover but I haven't really found very many freedom loving lefties. After covid, especially on Up, you had some masks slipping (maybe pun intended) when quite a few were jaqing off about police civil forfeiture when it involved their political enemies and jailing folks for nonviolent medical choices. For the record, you weren't defending that behavior which was nice to see.

None of that. Not really sure why I brought it up - was going to post about some books and went down a rabbit hole thread from early days. I like some of them there but the political tribalism can lead to some pretty glaring hypocrisy at times when emotion takes over. Maybe those were more of your wannabe lefty **** libs.
