***OFFICIAL "BATHE IN LJK'S TEARS AS THE NINERS GO TO THE SUPER BOWL" THREAD***
Spoiler

As a man of honor and decency I will bump this thread in advance of the game and not after the final completion
I mean this year’s Seahawks aren’t any good, at least yet. I went in expecting a loss. Basically just hoping that they close the year out in a way that makes me look forward to next season.
So I’m afraid this game was never really going to be able to upset me much unless we put it in a stranglehold and then choked it away or something.
Bump. Hope you lose.
While parity has been crushing my enjoyment of the NFL this year, at least it's been a benefit financially. It still feels like anybody's Super Bowl, but if forced to pick one team out of the NFC now, it would probably be the Seahawks. Darnold still scares the hell out of me in a big spot, but there are maybe only a handful of QBs in the league now where I wouldn't say that.
Seahawks by 8+ tonight.
Prediction rescinded if we start our third-string left tackle instead of out backup.
Niners by my heart exploding
Prediction rescinded if my heart doesn’t explode
Well that was unfortunate
Funny, that wasn’t quite how I processed it.
With one still to be decided, 3 of 5 home teams in wild card round are dogs. Such a silly season.
Rubber match, let’s goooooo
I recommend taking it as an insult that I was rooting for the Niners today. It was kind of like that HSP episode where the players at the table were paying Matusow to stick around and keep playing them.

Oblique injury seems scary for a QB, but lucky for Seattle, SF can't apply much pressure. Not in love with Darnold saying he's "probably playing".
Thankfully he looked 100% fine and there would no discernible way to tell there was any sort of injury if those reports hadn't come out. He played well (mostly just managing things).
With that defense, he may only have to manage things the rest of the way.
Yeah, it would have been an easier ride if Chicago had come through just now. Rams have outplayed us in both matchups (though we nabbed one of them), but I do like our odds well enough.
That guy would have never been able to show his face in Seattle again.
When the Seahawks traded Russell Wilson, I raged at them.
When the Seahawks let Geno leave and brought in Darnold, I raged at them.
Safe to say at this point that I don't know very many things. It's a pretty rare franchise that has shown the sort of foresight to sell high in the way that they have. Most franchises insist on presiding over the QB decline before finally getting away. John Schneider knows his ****.
Looking forward to Darnold throwing a game-losing pick at the goal line to Christian Gonzalez instead of KW3 punching it in
This one won't be close enough for us to throw it away at the end.
