I love this song - Meatloafs performance here is far from his best and seems a little uncoordinated, at least in the first half, but his voice is solid as ever.

The rest of the band here more than makes up for any issues though - Aspen Miller is obviously a goddess. I don't know who the blonde is but I know she's awesome.

I wish all of their songs sounded like this. The chorus is soooo catchy.

HUGE Veruca Salt fan.

It pains me to say this, but Dom may be too young to appreciate Cilla. He's just going through a phase.

yeah, she's amazing

my favorite is the kid in green pants and gray knit cap who looks like he escaped from Cronenberg's The Brood

Lightnin Hopkins - What'd I Say

I think it's been over a year since this was posted.

It showed up on my feed, where it's always welcome.

I wonder how old Claypool was when he first heard Zappa.

I saw one of Kim's last show in L.A. when they opened for...Veruca Salt...like 8 years ago? Great show. I went to L.A. to see VS when they first reformed, and then went back again when they were touring for their for their Ghost Notes...the Muffs opened for them. Had VIP passes and met the bands...they were all very nice and thrilled they had such an audience so many years after their heyday.

That's awesome. I never got the chance to see either of them... Well, I had plans to see Veruca Salt about ten years ago but didn't make it to the show for whatever reason. Really wish I saw the Muffs though. They should have been a lot bigger, and I never understood why they weren't.

Also, Kim Shattuck has one of the coolest voices ever.

I can never understand why this guy isn't better known. I've never heard anyone mention him.

Not a fan, but Jason Priestley loves them, and in my book, that's worth something.

try playing it very loudly in your car while deep in depression - that seems to do the trick

I prefer getting lost in songs from hit 80s movie soundtracks.
