This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is there only for questions or concerns about anything Bodog-branded.
There is no official Bovada Rep at 2+2 at this time, but perhaps if discussion is effected in a civil manner, one might arrive in due course?

I've deposited from the same wallet every time using the exact same funds i move between sites, the only programs running on my computer at the time was nord, Jurojin, and PT4, and chrome for music. I've tried all morning to get in contact with them, and they are ignoring me completely. Literally haven't said anything besides "Hello, my account was locked pending investigation, and I want to know why and what i can do to speed up this process" Someone's gonna get a .79c quiet pill, on god.
Could be just a check as I mentioned, you are playing for two years and assuming you were checked at the start it is not unreasonable to assume that it is time for it again. It is done at random intervals and in my experience usually before attempting to withdraw. You didn't say when you were last checked so I am just assuming this is the case.

Its ****ed, because i have literally defended this website on trustpilot saying I've never had issues and if your account was locked, you did something violating terms of service or abused the referral bonus. Guess I was wrong.

No one spams this much about $250 who is actually doing anything nefarious so, I imagine with close to 100% certainty, they will verify your account and allow you to proceed. You just have to give it time since they are not the fastest operators.

If you don't try to time the max late reg to the last 3-4 seconds to get with the other people who do it, you're at a pretty big disadvantage

Go to ask gamblers people was saying they have a direct line to bovada management and you can dispute faster than just through bovada with them. i dont know for sure, but i tried it.

Okay, we are back in business. All funds are good on account still, and my withdrawal processed immediately. My account WAS shut off because the VPN use over here. On Bovada, they are much more intolerant than ignition I guess of VPN usages, i had a chat with an Ignition employee a few months ago, when i asked if it was okay to run- who told me it was not " allowed" but generally going to be okay to use as long as you could prove you was in your accounts registered state if ever asked to, which is why I assumed it was okay. This isn't exactly the case, apparently. .I used it at ignition for quite awhile with no issues, but when i started going to Bovada again recently as well(stupid superstition i have-- dont ask), it was one, so I'm recommending you remember to turn it off, over on both sites before play-- just to be sure. They politely asked me to remember to have it off before play, which i will gladly adhere to, from now on. Honestly thought it was a non-issue, or i would have been doing so already. I had to go through literally 20+ chats and employees disconnecting immediately and kind of had to finally kind of lean on a guy a little before I finally even found out what the issue even was, before sitting in chat for a good hour on one account after the first helpful guy left to reconnect with where it was supposed to go and hopping on my phone and opening another one and explaining the situation again to get through to an upper level guy who immediately helped..
It was a headache and a half, but we are all even now. Got a damned post it note on my ROG that says turn the damn VPN off before poker now. Big shoutout to Agent 'M' and supervisor "S" (i know their names but don't want to publicly half dox them) at bovada for helping me to expedite this!

Yeah, really kind of caught a break with the main supe being a super chill guy, tbh with you, probably could have been waiting awhile, alot of guys have been waiting months, but a closed mouth doesn't get fed either lol. Mine just autostarts any time I start up my computer, so I i dont even think about it being on or off really ever, so I'm going to have to be cognizant on it going forward.

we are in 2024 today and everyone uses a vpn even just to watch a banal TV series, which in the USA you can watch but if you are in a European country or UK or Asia you cannot watch it because it is blocked and vice versa.
not to mention that today we travel more than ever and that in these latest cases censorship, quibbles etc. have arisen, each country has its own.
that 20 years ago, in 2004, you could play in any country in the world and watch films, TV series and listen to music on the internet without copyright or restrictions
if a player send all document is verified and lives in a country where there is no law against playing online poker, if he informs the room that he travels a lot and it's fine for the room where is the problem if he uses a VPN?
let's say someone is verified and lives in California where online poker is ok and for work he has to travel a lot, or even just because he likes to travel, he comes to Australia, he can't play. not even in France. not even in Spain. in countries like Algeria or Saudi Arabia etc yes because there is no law on online poker but the provider blocks gambling among tons of others stuff: porn, news that those in power don't like etc etc.
what should be done? he won't play for a month until he gets home?

I understand, but when i started thinking about it, there would be nothing stopping someone from opening 3 accounts, getting on 3 different laptops, and then joining the same tables to collude with themselves, on 3 different VPN servers.. So, while its a Hassel, i completely understand where they are coming from with that, after a little introspection on it. It probably actually is just to maintain the integrity of games.

the case you presented let's say a guy living in China pretends to live in California and opens 3 different accounts on Bovada. 1) ok he does it, but he has to produce 3 false documents to the room it's not such a simple thing to do 2) the room sees that the guy is connected to a VPN.
my point is about those who have an account on any room that asks for documents, is verified, and for various reasons must use the VPN: because they travel for work or pleasure, or because they don't move from their address but use the VPN to do other things on the internet: one lives in the USA and while playing poker he likes to watch Indian TV series which are blocked if you don't live in India. let the room know, the room knows, end of story.
