Why does him investing in it change your pov?

I’m halfway joking based on his commentary over the years. I’m guessing he’s mostly a financial investor and isn’t involved on the analytics side.

Yes I would think so. I’m sure that’s why they’re on MNF though - guessing he β€˜gives’ the rankings to them?

nah probably charges espn like $350k to license them

i trust collinsworth with nothing so if he's even tangentially involved in a project my default assumption is it's ****, or at least turned to **** when he became involved

lol.

He has been involved since 2014.

But I have read opinions from multiple people I respect that say PFF isn’t that sharp.

This article doesn’t shed PFF in a good light.

been posted a million times but it's still not enough times

old man Fraudgers physically ain't what he used to be

Adams cannot elicit something from Rodgers that simply isn't there anymore. Pretty much all the pushing-40 quarterbacks we've seen over the past decade had to dramatically change how they played to account for diminishing physical traits.

Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan ... all of these guys had to start throwing the ball earlier and shallower to account for their lack of arm strength and pocket mobility. (Tom Brady, maddeningly, was somehow immune to the weight of age.) This is happening to Rodgers. His time to throw is the lowest it has ever been, his pressure rate is higher and his air yards per attempt are down.

sorry roymunson

Yea these guys go quick too. Manning was throwing for 5k in Denver and all of a sudden he couldnt get it to line of scrimmage. Drew Brees the same, his arm just up and died. They all think they can beat father time but they cant. And it seems to happen over night. Green Bay had it right, as much as he has meant to your team, age is something you can't overcome.

He still has some juice left for this season but this is it. I was worried about it, but even in the terrible 49er loss he showed he could still spin it. Jets would be foolish to give him another year. They have to run the table now, so its about dead as it can get. Wont be his fault really, they must run it. Grandpa aint scrambling around every play.

Favre also had a great year his second to last season then fell off a cliff.

GB learned a hard lesson with Favre which made it so much easier for them to get rid of Rodgers

I bet if/when Love is nearing a tail end of his career and still in GB they will flip him even quicker as soon as they get a decent prospect on the roster (which is the right thing to do always, in order to go deep in playoffs you absolutely must have either a top 5 QB or an above average starter on a rookie contract)

intuitively, we understood Hutch was going to be a big loss, but damn

SB winning QBs (i'll just go back to the 2000 season, could keep on going back)

Trent Dilfer

Joe Flacco - (was 13th in ANY/A and 17th in QBR in 2012)

Nick Foles

didn't Nick Foles play 1 game or something? my memory is not what it used to be

NFL was quite different back when Trent Dilfer and even Joe Flacco won (I'm a big Joe Flacco fan)

even so 85% of the time you still absolutely must have the above

GB didn’t have it that right. Iirc they could have got the Russel Wilson package from Denver the offseason before he went to the Jets

So, are you saying it wasn't wise for me to bet a mortgage payment split between NYJ to win the SB and over 8.5 wins (need 7 wins from last 11 games) this year?

PFF grades are total trash. They have interns grading players on every play without knowing what a players' assignment might be. It's bullshit. And I believe that whether they rank Bills players high or low.

EPA for players/DVOA for teams. that's it.

the bet to win the SB was lighting USD on fire

might be ok on the wins bet, as the NYJ have the easiest remaining schedule (per DVOA)

Regardless of the specific rights and wrongs of that bet, it is 1000% not wise for you to bet on anything to do with Rodgers.

truly humiliating for a grown man to be saying these things

FireMEN are cool, but that FireMAN is such a bitch. Didn't he almost fight a dude who was standing in his "spot" or something?

Its the higlight of his life. He is nuts. Better this than be a deadhead. I remember as teen going to see the dead at Giants stadium. I wonderd how those dirty deadheads survived, then I turned around and bought some mushroom goodies off them.

Haha, I just imagined the anger he stewed in after no big screen.

Josh Allen without a true WR1 this season:

1st in QBR
2nd in EPA/play
10 TDs - 0 INTs
106.8 RTG

Bills offense was still elite. Trading for Amari Cooper was a no brainer.

Josh Allen was still thriving

Somebody needs a cigarette....

Nobody could have seen anything like that coming.
