Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. 2024 was a banner year for El Diesel.
It is indeed looking like 2024 will be one of the best every for El Diesel!
At these lofty heights, he has to kind of be careful.
What happens if he is playing on the road in the middle of nowhere (Columbus), and he encounters another great ACE CRACKENING?
OR, what happens if he has another ace crackening while camped out in his parent's basement?
I would worry that would ground him, and he might not get out again to travel.
El Diesel should probably move down in stakes, playing with a much smaller buy in. That way, if he gets cracked, he does not risk so much.
Does anyone remember a hand in 2024 where Rice got a full double up of at least 100 big blinds?

Followed up with a cigar. 2nd gas station, cheese covered pretzel. Upon arrival at the Horseshoe in Baltimore, great footage of the parking garage (after eating a gas station chicken salad sandwich).
Actually played poker for 3 hours and booked a $363 win. More footage of an outdoor smoking balcony overlooking the rear end of the Holiday Inn next door. No shots of the poker room or even of the casino itself (other than the really cool parking garage).
I'm going to guesstimate the total poker played on this 10 day zig zag across the country journey at 12 hours.

That's being generous. I'm certain at this point he has the record for playing the fewest hours across the most number of states. If his objective is to travel as many miles as possible per hour of actual table time then he is doing a bang up job!

Was thinking the same thing, pretty close to peak Rice content in a short 5 minute package. LMAO at boasting about how healthy (more importantly dirt cheap) it is with canned sardines, then insta firing up a cigar afterwards,magic.

I have a hunch it's the longest session this road trip (since leaving his beloved Council Bluffs) and it might be his only 3 figure win of the road trip. El D/Rice telling us his results (which is rare) was a humble brag by him.

Rice doesn't 'hit and run', he just sits, folds, and runs.
So tilted off roughly 10% of his life roll in 1 night. Still he's had a good run lately, rallying from 20k up to over 40k over last month or so
It's what he does. When he starts running low on funds he has a remarkable ability to hunker down and grind it back up. But when he gets in the 40k range he starts torching it. It's actually quite fascinating.

Like as if it wasn't entirely because he actually won more than single digits for the first time since the summer.
Love that the sardine slurry made a reappearance on the channel today. He really enjoys dousing everything in that free warm packet mayonnaise. I bet he always has a bunch of them sitting in his car, ready to go.
Who knows, maybe we will get to see him eat some hot dogs smothered with packet mayo and pepper again soon - that one was a real treat!

I won't ever defend him but Wawa sandwiches don't qualify as "gas station food." Yes you can buy gas there but their stuff is generally good. Can't vouch for the chicken salad choice though.

I haven't watched his videos since he left Council Bluffs. I've played poker in most of the locations he has visited since then. So he goes to these places and does not play OR plays for like 1/2 hour in the middle of the day on weekday?
Back in the day LA used to have a TON of players coming from Texas, especially Houston. The action was great, with lots of tables going. Of course, this was on the weekend and at night. NOT in the middle of Tuesday. That was also before the Texas card rooms started opening.
IF El Diesel is not going to play in these places TX & LA, how is he a poker professional? How is he a professional when he only plays WHEN he wants to? When it is convenient for him? He should be planning his travel & time around when games will be the best. Offering the most players, most action, etc.
Even though he is a train wreck, I've just about totally lost interest. I suspect I'm not the only one.

Simply put, El Diesel is a fake poker professional.
