2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
Good sign for the Chase truthers
Moss fumbled his way out of his way out of touches in the early 3rd. Brown tried to fumble Moss back in at the end of the game.
I wouldn't be surprised if the snap share is close to 50/50 moving forward, but that the touch share continues to move in Brown's favor. Moss is going to have a lot of empty fantasy snaps for pass protection purposes. I think the Bengals still value Moss more there.

That was kind of my assessment as well.
Although looking at the advanced metrics and Chase is so much better.
Yeah, Moss has spent 4.5 seasons showing us who he is.
Chase is a second year player continuing to improve. Chase still has some really bad runs for losses, and his vision doesn't seem great, but he's much better at bursting through the hole when he sees it.
I doubt either will see more than 2-3 targets per game moving forward.
I saw this on X, and I'm curious if anyone here can guess it. There were a lot of wrong guesses before the correct answer was guessed.
"There is a RB who ranks:
#1 in True Yards Per Carry
#1 in Yards Per Touch
#1 in Yards Per Reception
#1 in Yards Per Route Run
#2 in Yards Created Per Touch
#3 in Breakaway Run Rate
#4 in Fantasy Points Per Opportunity
And just had 80% of snaps in Week 6."
Chuba?
Not Chuba or Davis, although like Davis, this player's snap opportunity in week 6 was opened up by an injury ahead.
Hint: He used to be considered elite for fantasy.
Ekeler would've been my second guess, but I'm not showing he's that high in any of those metrics.
Yes.
I didn’t independently verify the stats, but the account is pretty sharp from what I’ve seen, so assumed they were correct. Not sure what source he uses.
I guess the only ones that were off were True YPC and Breakaway Run Rate
LMAO - Ekeler 15-198 yards per reception is 13.2
Never would've guessed him - wasn't the dude basically given up for dead during draft season?
12 team PPR and it looks like MHjr probably gonna be sitting MNF which leaves these tasty choices:
Have and easily willing to dump:
Pierce v MIA
MNF options if I wait until MHjr OUT confirmation
Palmer @ AZ
Bateman @ TB
Shepard v BAL
Dortch v LAC
Options if I make a move now
Means v DEN
Vele @ NO
Mccloud v SEA
Noah Brown v CAR
MHJ is still technically in the protocol, but he's practicing today. I think there is a decent chance he plays.
I'd probably just hold off and then play Bateman if MHJ is confirmed out by Saturday.

Cool - its ESPN so just gotta remember to drop Pierce before Sunday
Does your crystal ball have any insight in James Cook playing this week?
Sounds promising. It seemed like a legit gametime decision this past Monday, so I'd say it's more likely than not that he plays.
Is Courtland Sutton dead?
Stuck starting him with DJM on bye and wasn't expecting much to begin with, but a squadoosh on TNF is just a delightful start.
Javonte doing wonders for me in BestBall, but I ended up with more Sutton in DFS so kinda screwed there for tonight.
PPR trade offer
DeAndre swift and puka
for
Brian robinson Jr and pittman
who would you rather have? I think I'd rather have Brob and pittman
Swift and puca and don’t think it’s close. Pittman probably back to unplayable with Richardson back
damn I was too late!!!! he traded with someone else fml
thanks guys!
ugh
Finally getting Bigsby szn.
