NCAA FOOTBALL 2024 MEGA THREAD - WELCOME TO THE PLAYOFF ERA
Just 8 days until Florida State plays Georgia Tech!
A lot happened while you were away:
Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC
The Pac-12 went out in a blaze of glory:
Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA are headed to the B1G
Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado are headed to the B12
Cal and Stanford along with SMU are somehow headed to the ACC
Poor old Wazzu and Oregon State are now aligned with the MWC in some sort of in-flux relationship
The conferences are huge now, and the schedules are wildly imbalanced. Florida might have the hardest schedule in the history of the sport, while Missouri's playing a sun-belt slate.
FSU and Clemson play each other, but then play ZERO common ACC opponents
Utah/Baylor and Arizona/Kansas State play non-conference games against conference opponents
LSU and USC play in Vegas!
Boise goes to Oregon, a team they've never lost to!
Texas at Michigan!
Alabama at Wisconsin!
Notre Dame at ATM!
Clemson vs Georgia!
And there are some incredibly juicy new conference matchups:
Texas @ ATM is back!
Texas vs Georgia
Oregon vs Ohio State
USC @ Michigan
USC vs Penn State
And then the bizarre:
UCLA @ Rutgers is now a conference game
Syracuse plays home and away against Cal and Stanford for some reason
Half the teams have new coaches, transferred quarterbacks, or both!
Let's get it on!
@ AU guy: It's a very, very dull green. Actually looks green at some angles when the light hits it differently. But I think you're ok.
Move over, boys. There's a new boss in the SEC!
Also a weird dulled out map of Texas midfield that's been replaced by a Longhorn head thing. SEC fans will know what I mean; what a Mississippi State thing to do.
Dont know college football at all. degen me bet texas - 4.5 anyway. Ewers looked like he didnt even try to hold ball, tried to flick his wrist at the ground , fumble. imo, knowing nothing, bench him, now
could also revoke his scholorship right? unsure of rules
Can salvage 150. Im gonna let it ride, but this looks like a disaster. Thought Texas was good, maybe its just confusing start but I think Im toast. Never a cash out, dimond hands. But please bench Ewers dude.
These texans fans all worship satan it seems. Im doomed
QBs in this game trying so hard to out suck each other so far

Don't blame you, UGA secondary looking surprisingly competent, and apparently getting healthy on the DL as well.
Both of these offenses look very meh
Kentucky with the old school downfield flea flicker...

Totally unrelated to
We want Arch!
We want Arch!
We want Arch!
Real battle of WIL from these QBs
Kirby taking Sark and his staff behind the woodshed
Amazing how the #1 team continues to play their second best QB.
Wow Ewers blows good grief
Texas' spirit is broken. Put in Arch or concede
welcome to the SEC Tejas
This game already seems like it's over.
Looks like Bobo is finally realizing they don't have the weapons to go downfield, and is adjusting accordingly
Longhorns oline looks so outmatched
SEC kinda wide open this year
UT needs to be spying Etienne.
Give us Arch or we riot
I'd hate to be Sark fielding phone calls from boosters this week.
