WPT launches ClubWPT Gold in 46 US states
Thoughts? Concerns? How much bigger will it be than Global Poker, the other major site running under sweepstakes laws?
When is this supposed to be coming?

Same as above. I look forward to the launch if the software is better than global poker. I can’t stand playing on their site through an internet browser. I pre-registered for wpt gold as soon as I saw the announcement.
Anyone have trouble registering? I can't get it to take my ID. I know the site won't be in Michigan (my ID is a Michigan ID) ... however I am making the assumption Michigan residents will be able to play (outside of Michigan) and that my ID should still be accepted.

No issues here, did it from my computer then it sent me a link on my phone.
In what appears to be a firm middle finger to US regulators, WPT will be launching online poker in 46 states
They will operate under the sweepstakes model and will have the same offerings as Global poker

Are they randomly assigning 2,000 entries to a tourney at the Wynn?
Curious if it will actually be capped at 2k entrants. I suppose since it is a free roll they won’t want endless tables to staff for an event they’re not making money on.
Probably need to add 10 more states to that list before they launch. Sweepstakes sites are all being sent Cease and Desist letters. California is going after them all HEAVILY. Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Delaware, Nevada, Kentucky, among others have also been banned from many other popular sweepstakes casinos, sportsbooks and poker sites.
I'm almost leaning towards the opinion that ClubWPT Gold won't even follow through on launching as many other states are going after sweepstakes sites.
I’ve seen a list of free roll satellites beginning today on wpt gold for the $5M tournament in Vegas.
Has anyone seen how to play or download an app online yet for wpt gold? The posts on X with the free satellites have been deleted so I’m guessing roll out of wpt gold beta version is delayed?
Is there any info at all about a launch date yet?

There's nothing in the TOS about GA. It launched last night for a pre-view, try to register and see what happens. Someone filing a suit means nothing.
