Stone bubble of satellite tournament with 6.5 BBs
9 Left 8 advance
Action folds to hero in SB i have 6.5 BBs
I look down at J6 spades
BB has about 4 bbs left after posting BB + Ante
There is one other small stack that also has about that have to pay blinds 5 hands from now.
Do i jam in this spot?

the other small stack has about 4 big blinds
I would jam. BB should call pretty snug here due to huge ICM.
Easy jam. Pretty much ATC. Would be better if BB had like 12xBB.
I would jam so long as I had the discipline to not play another hand until after the other short stack plays his blinds if I lose.
I would fold just because other players usually suck and will make bad plays gifting you the seat when you don't play any hands. The one player I don't want to shove into is the smallest stack at the table who might just decide to gamble for the seat since they are last anyway. Like, in theory bb is supposed to fold AKo here and AQs etc and I don't see that happening. It's still +ev even if he calls way too wide but I still pass just because you will often see 2 players clash unnecessarily

Jamming is the correct play, not sure we should deviate from that because we fear someone else might make a mistake. Besides, calling 4% of hands instead of 1% still gives us a 96% chance of a fold.
If it was 4% I'd jam. I'd be more worried about it being like 25%.
The last live satellite I played, 2 or 3 from the bubble, someone open jammed like 25BB from the button and the BB stacked off with KQo.
On the stone bubble, I was chip leader and jammed 88. Someone called off with A7o.

Seems that neither of you got that right…
Do you want to elaborate or just leave it at that?
I wasn't BB, I open jammed 88. I think I was SB jamming into BB, but I'm not totally sure. Think there were only 4 people left and 3 seats remaining.
