In light of recent news, the thread title might need to be “bench me I’m tired.” lol

I would prefer, "Y'all hold up! I need to sit down for a minute."

eta: Or "Don't pay any attention to me. I'm too dumb to read the title again before I post."

A(R)+ title change

**** the panthers man.

Gave away Diontae for free. Happy for you, though, Bebe

Interesting. Yeah, we didn't pay much which is good. In a football sense it is good to have the extra depth. I don't know if it says anything about the organization's faith in Bateman which he seemed to be really taking another step this year (jinx, until 58 yard drop this week).

But it's adding to the #1 (okay, can argue 1 or 2 with the Lions) offense. I guess he takes Agholor and Likely's targets and gives us more downfield threat to open things up for Zay, Bateman and Andrews. Mitchell is also due back soon.

Will be curious to see what it really does, I didn't think we'd be adding offense given the state of affairs.

Diontae is terrible

Yeah, pass defence is what needed the work

by filthyvermin m

players should take themselves out if they feel hurt or tired.

maybe he should be criticized for his conditioning(and other things), but you should def take yourself out if you're tired.

Is this satire? Should they sit because their feelings are hurt too?

by ligastar m

this might be really stupid but will def tip my toe in and check it out‘Monday Night Football' to air alternate ‘Simpsons’ broadcast for Bengals-Cowboys in Week 14Bart will be on the Bengals side, while Homer will ride with the Cowboys. Marge and Lisa will interview players, while the Mannings and Stephen A. Smith will appear in character during the alt-cast.

do not want to watch screaming at Smithers

indeed
but don't worry
they do that for you after every local gun show purchase

I prefer to call it performance art. Filthy being filthy.

On a related note, I missed it, when did RT become an AR15 hater?

by pwnsall m

Diontae is terrible

Why do you think this? By far the best receiver on the Panthers this year.

I've never liked his chances, but I was willing to the gamble because you have to take risks. After seeing him play last year, I was out. You get the occasional cool play, but he can't hit anything under 15 yards and most anything over that.

The real bitch was the boat load of Indy fans who just keep making excuses for him. Excuses are fine if the guy is young and middling, but when he's young and historically terrible, maybe just stop.

sorry heels

so they traded diontae to move up anywhere from 1-6 spots at the bottom of the 5th round? guess this is why GMs make the big bucks... pushing the thinnest of edges

I quit

How low can a WR trade go?

by tarheels2222 m

I quit

You don't have to quit. Just tap the side of your head, and you'll get a brief respite (longer if you need it--and you probably will). Then you can rejoin the team as if nothing had happened.

win/win!

sorry heels but you had your time to shine

I’m tired of sorry heels losing, so I’m hitting the bench.

"Lamar > Josh" in the post-season is a very bad equation. Lamar will have his year, and it may be this year, but so far Josh basically loses to the Super Bowl team every year and Lamar reeks it up. Therefore, in my book the AFC looks like:

1. KC
2. Buffalo
3. Baltimore

Not so much a QB battle tbh - Bills D concede 8 points a game fewer than Ravens

JOE out there ballin' out and getting absolutely no support from the FO's structure of the team or the coaches developing/coaching up the rest of his teammates

smh
