Thanks. So what is that like in % terms of rake paid? On pokerstars bottom rate is 15% I think and the next level up is 17.5%.

To take yesterdays result as an example: played 8384 hands of NL10 zoom, paid 35.33$ in rake, i got 6,33$ from pure rakeback and 8$ from daily leaderboards, there are some more bonuses to be considered like BBJ, daily 100k tourney flips if im lucky enough to be registered, events etc

Sweet sweet start of the session while listening to Lana Del Rey's Dark Paradise

+3 BI in 300 hands

I wanted to call here but the reason i folded i thought he made set of TT on the river

no greediness just exact bet sizing to make sure villain calls

I implore you to go and find players who agree that folding to 14bb on the river with this hand in a fairly small pot is the right move to make over the long term.

I have actually commented on a few other hands as well if you bothered to look.

What metagame are you talking about? Blazar plays in the rush & cash pools and has claimed the pool is so big that he doesn't know the players well. If this was a heads up battle over thousands of hands then metagame comes into play. This isn't the case.

T

What metagame am I talking about? Metagame as in: how do players in a certain game generally play. That's metagame too, just the simplest version.

"I implore you to go and find players who agree that folding to 14bb on the river with this hand in a fairly small pot is the right move to make over the long term. " Why? I don't really care what random braindead grinders think. And your premise about longterm/shortterm makes no sense: Longterm the way to crush is to consistently try to make good decisions specific to each unique situation. Not to play level 1, extremely abstract/vague poker, which is literally what your analysis amounts to.

I'm officially tilted after this hand, how many mistakes i made?

Maybe should i have raised flop? and never called river raise? or should i have applied my flawed turn donk strategy? damn

Maybe, I wouldn't.
With no reads, mostly yes. Unless if you think he can raise worse for value (imo doubt).
No lol.

nah im not ready, i don't deserve anything yet

After that KQ hand followed by KK deep 4b pot i shoved KJs pre vs fish (monkey tilt) and lost that too

Ended up only with +1 BI profit today while i could be in huge profit damn gonna chill a bit and continue later

I need to work on my deepstack play, more disciplined laydowns vs raises and controlling myself from punting after losses

The problem itself comes from my mindset: when i lose hands like that and tilt sign appears im allowing myself to make exceptions

My thought process is like “ill do this just one time” “look hes a fish why not make just one exception vs him” “luck will be on my side this time” etc

This kind of exception making thinking punts off stacks frequently

I see like 2 ways to solve this, just by changing mindset and making as a rule to never make any exceptions or as soon as tilt sign starts close the session and take like 30min rest

Look back at all the hands in the last few k hands that were punts and work out how much you would be up now if not for them. That always helps to get my head sorted. What you describe is normal and natural human deficiency when it comes to poker, I'm sure you know. But you can definitely improve it a lot.

Resumed the session, i think those guys understood the assignment how to treat me well or it's too late and they are little burned out

Actually yes they bluff the rivers sometimes but i'm here to catch them

Here are my 2cents about GG's NL10 zoom and what it takes to beat it:

* Players lack aggression, they rarely put you in hard spots and when they do they have really strong hand
* Pool is big and you can do whatever you like to them over and over again, most of them not even notice what you're doing
* You will never get enough value with your premium hands but they fold a lot so to take that dead money is crucial part
* You have to make disciplined laydowns consistently when they show aggression, not paying them off also very crucial part
* You have to apply basic preflop fundamentals to not burn money

I'm gonna stay here a little bit build my bankroll and then try NL25 but from my previous experience NL25 was way harder than NL10 but not sure what makes it that way, maybe pool has some bots in it and players are better too idk

Yes and i did it again, what a shame

So i open raise with TT, villain calls, low flop comes with flush draw possibilities, i hold overpair, villain donks i call, villain now overbets turn i raise, he goes all in i call, he shows set of 99s

How many times i told myself to not stack off in high SPR?

Then i play another hour to get back only half of that what i lost just in one hand, then again i called a 5bet shove with AKs and villain shows AA

Last days im still up like +10BI but i should have won twice as much

I see the problem but seems like I can’t solve it, it recurs, i don’t know how to force myself to stick to the plan and just do whats planned in my head without any exceptions

Those villains… i call them worms… they should be long time gone from my field, they give so much free dead moneys but living off my mistakes to stack me off time to time im the reason they are still around

"It's only 15BB"

I tell myself, it's okay to shove time to time with QQ/AK when opportunity arrives but it's not ok in this pool to call 5bet shoves, it's totally different!

And followed by nice stack off vs fish

+150$ last 3 days, feeling great but running little above EV

I feel bipolar sometimes playing poker every day 😃

I feel bipolar sometimes playing poker every day 😃

Well, when downswing hits mood changes drastically yeah, that’s why i strive for less variance strategy

yesterday played only 2k hand, low volume days are so bad for bonuses i get 0$ from leaderboards

but surprisingly received +50$ on balance from GGcare 100k flipout tourney thanks to this hand

KQs is weak hand for 4b pot so i thought going big wouldn't accomplish much, only stronger hands would call so i decided to go really small and it worked

They do that to me, i fire back at them, little did he know how wide my SB/BB 3bet range gets sometimes he would never do that
