he clearly didnt. he meant the possessive of the singular supporter(being the comedian) "his demonization" as garbage. and the stutter afterwards plus the incomplete sentence is obvious proof of that.

2nd interpretation doesn't make sense, it would be "...supporters' - their - their...".
In the first case the referent for "his" is Trump, in the third it's the comedian. In the second it just doesn't make sense for "supporters" to be the plural possessive if they are not the referent of the following pronoun. His supporters' what? Or is it "his supporters' garbage?"

And it was Marxists, communists or fascists, and communists specifically is his favourite grouping/insult of democrats in general.
