2nl to 200nl or die trying...
Hi all. Thought I would start recording my progress as I attempt to grind a roll from 2nl to 200nl and even further if p
That means death of pokerstars? GG takes over i guess

Seems every time I barrel in 3bet pot lately I'm beat. 1 pair no good.
Imo WP. Brave for V(he didn't know what he was doing) not to raise OTT on the most wettest board I ever seen.
Tables improved a bit. Seems I'll have to start playing more volume in the evenings. Feel like we're playing well. That first hand was a bit tilting but got it under control and grinded it back to about break even. Feels like EV flowing into us like like sweet ambrosia. Just not getting into many great spots atm.

Thanks for posting these hand histories.
I learn a lot from them.
I finally got a GTO wizard sub so spent a lot of time today looking at that, tutorials, analyzing hands, using the training on there etc. Also spent some time working on my own ranges specifically button facing opens from CO. Session went decent but I made at least a couple of bad calls vs river raises, this is something I really need to work on.

Some hands from today:
In HH1, vs Fish(broken stack =95% fish) I cann't understand your turn check, what was your thought process?
Imo the reason solver wants to shove is because he thinks this hand is worth playing for stacks.

Thought process is it's close to the bottom of my Qx range so check to induce turn stabs/get value from worse otr hands that would prob fold to a second barrel but get curious as to why I checked turn if i have Qx+ etc. Plus I don't see people calling down for stacks with worse very often if ever but that might be my mubs speaking.

You made some bad calls but your win rate graph and bank roll are still going up.
Nice work and thanks for the hand histories.
25nl has more tables it's wierd. But above that looks dead as well. Problem is from what i've heard gg rake is almost unbeatable. We need another poker boom :(
There was a rake hike on pokerstars earlier this year, for 2nl-10nl. Only zoom remains the same as before. So:
Pokerstars (5 players+):
2nl: Rake=5% Cap=50bbs
5nl: Rake=5% Cap=20bbs
10nl: Rake=5% Cap=10bbs
Weirdly enough, 25nl remains the same, so it's almost as if they want to get rid of the nanostakes and move everyone to 25nl as the lowest limit. Makes sense IMHO, given inflation over what, 20 years?
25nl: Rake=4.50% Cap=8bbs
GG (6-max):
2nl-25nl: Rake=5% Cap=10bbs up to 10nl, 8bbs for 25nl
I am not sure what is the overall impact of the preflop rake, but other than that, GG is not worse than stars if you play up to 10nl I believe.
Pokerstars before the hike was this:
2nl: Rake=3.5% Cap=15bbs
5nl: Rake=4.15% Cap=20bbs
10nl: Rake=4.50% Cap=15bbs
This is what they take on the zoom NLH tables nowadays.

That's interesting thanks for taking the time. So any idea how much worse the rake is above 25nl? If there's not much difference I might consider a move given the games are supposed to be toughest on pokerstars.
Feeling quite demoralized at the moment may take a short break for a few days. See how i'm feeling tomorrow. Sat down and got dealt KK vs AA within 10 hands then rivered the nut straight in a 3bet pot vs a flush. Confidence has taken a beating over the last week so might need some time to gather myself before I start going on tilt.
