Alright so the Poopers have a rent for the commercial kitchen space in the ballpark of 2-3K a month+ payment for the expensive kitchen equipment they bought is that correct?

This will be an uphill battle when they will have to be earning 3k+ every month in sales just to cover kitchen+equipment before they can think about pocketing some money for themself.

They had a small niche market locally that would work but now they are trying to turn it into something much bigger than it is.

They are only getting orders from the vlog fans and people who have bought at the farmers market they may keep buying there or will turn to online ordering. It's not like they are going to ever start getting organic internet traffic to their site that actually buys from them, there is just too much competition.

They will have success the next 2 months during the holidays with the extra pop in orders for stuff people can bring to their family get togethers, but once January and February hits, it's going to be like a falling knife.

You're likely protected by the statute of limitations from prosecution if any arson charge is brought related to marshmallows back when you were a youngster.

So your numbers are pretty accurate, especially if you add in the cost of utilities.
And we haven’t even added in the cost of the Confectionary ingredients, packaging, and a zillion other cost.

If Trooper was smart, he would have pivoted to baking pies this month. He could sell unlimited apple, pecan and pumpkin pies which would be less intensive to make and the margin is higher.

Anything that can be made with either sugar, high fructose corn syrup and water as the main ingredients is in their wheelhouse, so I think they could pull off rock candy with some practice as long as the humidity is right.
