Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

I'm sure those marshmallows taste amazing, but dang their candy is so labor intensive and their kitchen barely adds capacity. They're relying on that one marble table and they have to cool it down on the surface, they're gonna have to work 15-18 hours a day to make this work.
They had a small niche market locally that would work but now they are trying to turn it into something much bigger than it is.
They are only getting orders from the vlog fans and people who have bought at the farmers market they may keep buying there or will turn to online ordering. It's not like they are going to ever start getting organic internet traffic to their site that actually buys from them, there is just too much competition.
They will have success the next 2 months during the holiday
It would have probably been a better decision to outsource the production of their candy to a larger scale producer if one was available, and focus their time and effort on branding and market reach.
Basically, you work with the producer to create a recipe and produce a product, then you buy it from them at a production cost, wholesale it to retail outlets and retail your own sales online and at markets, festivals etc.
It’s a much cheaper upfront cost, and you don’t have to do all the manual labor of production or manage employees to do it for you.
Then, if your profits are enough, and you want to build your own facility, you can do so after accumulating funds, while lowering the burden if you indeed need to borrow to do so.
I have a friend who did just that with a beef jerky business and it’s become pretty successful.
Granted, it may be easier to find a large enough scale meat facility than a candy production plant.
On the flip side, perhaps they have visions of being that candy facility that eventually not only produces their own product, but produces and sells other candy brands to other entrepreneurs.
2500ish for the kitchen and probably 1500 for their own apartment.... why not just rent a house with a huge kitchen. Surely that budget would have got them anything they wanted?

They should just live in the kitchen. It has everything needed to live, parking lot, restrooms, and large industrial sink they can spray down and clean up near.
Am I the only one super excited that you can now purchase Diesel's newsletter ala carte rather than subscribing to the series? Some of them just don't interest me; but I would pay to see features like keep track week and quotes from the table.

For me, the biggest highlight of today's vlog from Rice is seeing the small bottle of maple syrup condiment that Rice snatched from the Bellagio buffet featured on the cover of his latest newsletter. He has to have been toting that little treasure around in his pocket for at least a month.
In other news, his last week of play at the Horseshoe Baltimore resulted in a total loss of $36 after 37 hours of play which includes all promo bucks. Those Diamond tier status points don't come easy.

Not surprisingly he played much longer sessions when he was winning and aborted quickly when he was losing. Those results are quite telling even if it’s just a 1 week sample size.

Seems like BS to me. He keeps track of all his wins/losses. He happens to not track and show his W/L for the wild week but instead gives us his usual +-$100 days. Sure, Diesel, sure.

Don't think anything is set in stone but in today's video he indicated he probably would be gone by the following weekend so he wouldn't be able to check out the Diamond Lounge.
He won't tell anyone where he is going because he knows he will get bum hunted

Rice doesn't drink. A diamond lounge which is just a bar that opens on Friday and Saturday nights was little more than a passing curiosity to him.
If they were serving up hot food then it would be a very different story. He would extend his stay indefinitely, make himself at home and stock up for the winter!
If they have Gatorade or water, he'll want to take up residence. If they have mayo packets, he'll never leave.
