*** November 2024 High Stakes Thread ***

Hello everyone and thanks for coming. Get your popcorn ready and let this thread be at least as epic as the

Previous High Stakes thread: *** October 2024 High Stakes Thread ***

: : :

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

How to post CoinPoker hands:

Click on hand #number in replayer.

Copy text and remove ante part of first row in hh:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400 ante 80) 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
Add - after parenthesis. Line should read:
Poker Hand #72306164: Omaha Pot Limit (200/400) - 2023/04/12 15:51:58 GMT
This works until someone has a 7 figure stack, then you need to edit any number over one mega.

paste hh https://pokeit.co/convert/

The converted hand will say it's from GG, you may edit this too.

For the OCD inclined, search and replace § with $.

Post your nice hand here!

:

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Converter from Pokeit https://pokeit.co/convert/ with wide variety of supported games, multiple hand conversion, etc.

Another converter: http://www.railhand.com

Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.

Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Hmmm this is why we need a poker union for the players.

Really what parameters do you need to join those 50/100 games?

I was wondering how’d they start those games, now their plan is clear, house pros will be doing this instead of real end bosses

dear hh posters, im deeply disappointed that only hands posted from sponge vs turtle have been shameless selfposts, but could we get the ball rolling again with the big bois comeback today

This is a very good question, on the top of my head one would have to imagine that its a combination between actual losses and playing style? So similair to PVI, i doubt we will see any of the regs who lost millions in there. Assuming thats the case it will legit be terrible players, and its important to emphasize that if we are talking true whales they wont lose any slower wether its Linus they are playing or Elky. Ghosting will be happening or is likely already happening since day one.

I really dont get the appeal, this is like watching NBA/NHL/NFL but you can only play if you are a non professional (as in doing something else full time and terribly out of shape). Didn't TV channels try this concept with celebrities a billion times already with poker and it was unsuccesful everytime ?

GG hasn't designed this to increase the number of people railing the high-stakes tables. They've done it to try and make more money

From earlier today

sad to see highstakes on gg gone :/

Me too. Would love to know the result right now :p . There is a crossbook ?

They had the most active high stakes lobby online raking in a fortune. Games are already much less active. Stars tried to tweak a winning formula to make more money and now their site is dead…

If Prudently goes on a pod or jumps in here so we can know about both battlers rather than just yourself we can show more interest. Berri has an aura, you’re a long time endboss and Sanita is the new king, turtle needs more PR 😀

I just observed, no run it twice?

talking about ghosting, jungleman and john juanda have been the other regs aside from sponsored pros playing these games. so they obv have some insider links.

i assume they both have some kind of affiliation with GG since they are featured on their website under "player profiles".

i was wondering why Elky jumped into my PLO200 games over the last week or so. now i see why haha. wdf is happening

I might be wrong but i never saw them play nosebleeds on GG before and all of a sudden now they started to play, sus imo

i've seen them both play GG before. also, the player profiles are from early last year, making it safe to assume that they both started playing there then (if not before).

Jungle has played before. Some non gg pros have been invited so far too, some because they lost a bunch and some i assume because they got good connections. Don't see a point to start name dropping though lol
