2024 NFL Regular Season: g-bebe’s Lamar attempts to slay Dom’s Josh for title of mafia boss
You know, since the Super Bowl periodically i will watch the CBS Sinatra intro cuz it was ****ing magnificent. Halfway t
not sure either of those teams are gonna have good enough D to get to the Super Bowl
Chase exploited the bottom two BAL secondary NFL unit (a unit which will limit their ability to make any noise this postseason) to record levels these past 32 days
tying a record first set 61 yrs ago and inching closer to a Randy Moss record
right now it's Chase and Henry neck-and-neck for OPotY

Holy ****, if you came up with this yourself I'd say its the best post of the thread.
New thread title ACTIVATED!
I did in fact come up with that. I was also thinking of a clever way to describe this terrible London matchup between the Giants and Panthers but couldn't quite find the words for it (sorry heels).
OPotY current odds:
Henry 4/6
Barkley 12/5
Chase 11/2
JJ 15/2
Ick Gints Pans Berliner
Lions are 7-1 vs the spread this year.
in yet another season of NFL betting where I'm barely breaking even, the Lions have been the one shiny outlier
Dan Campbell is the man
Lamar the Great. I hope the last two slow rushing games don't keep him from passing Vick for all-time QB career rushing yardage this season. He needs a little over 300.
I remember when Lamar had that super heater first full year as starter, winning MVP. Running and QB rating off the charts. Somebody on here said they'd bet he'd have better year at some point. I was like ready to bet a quarter mill against that. He hasn't been close in the intervening years. But this year he might do it. In particular his 36/6 TD/Int ratio and ratings I thought he'd never approach. This year 24/2 ratio and higher ratings. Can you be a 3-time MVP and stillkind of a fizzle in the playoffs for your career?
heels has been feeding us fake news about Tepper this entire time
There have been 6 players with 3+ MVPs.
All 6 won a championship before getting their 3rd MVP.
That said, I wouldn't have any issues if Lamar won it again if he continues this pace. It's a regular season award anyways.
Ravens D: it's ldo to say but Chase is exactly the type of receiver that gives this current iteration fits. Great route running, fast, physical, athletic, and a YAC beast. Essentially we have limited ability with Stephens playing corner and particularly when Hamilton went out, to stop threats of that level.
Orr is in over his head for a first year DC. We have plenty of talent on that side of the ball; too much to be playing this badly. You can't convince me losing Queen, Clowney, and Stone has made this difference. It's losing McDonald and the schemes.
Hoping White is healthy enough to make a difference starting next week, move Stephens back to safety.
gbebe, i heard Derrik Klassen on today's The Athletic Football Show pod say that one of BAL's issues is that R. Smith is basically now an average NFL LB. i was shocked to hear this as i really take a lot of stock in his takes. is he off base here?
He's a year off an All-Pro season, I wouldn't say he is suddenly average. I don't follow advanced defensive stats as much but the general consensus I've seen is that he's dropping back more into coverage due to the weak secondary and it is not his strongest talent. I think the schemes and the composition of the defense isn't doing him too many favours.
Still a strong run defense, but that's partly because teams are happy to ignore the run and just throw a lot on us.
interesting
makes sense
perhaps has lost a step (as we all do) but still a great backer
I asked AI to create a video of Tua and Miami winning the Super Bowl, and this is what it spit out

DAK ATTACK done for the season
