[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread
This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is there only for questions or concerns about anything Bodog-branded.
There is no official Bovada Rep at 2+2 at this time, but perhaps if discussion is effected in a civil manner, one might arrive in due course?
Thank you.

Have the cash games bot/collusion issues from the past 1-2 years, improved any in the last few months?

I've heard people saying it's not so bad now etc but this is absolutely incorrect. It's far worse at the moment, the only difference is the bots are not nearly as obvious as before so the average grinder probably doesn't even notice.
It hasnt been happening as much past couple of days. It makes zone risky since you're guaranteed folded by the time you reconnect...
As with above, it's worth noting that Zone is/was one of the worst affected game formats for botting. There's a reason why there are people sat at zoom 24/7 where as a year or 2 ago you would have periods of the day when there were no players at 500. Just worth considering.

Less instances of the most blatant collusion from them, but other than that no. There's been at least 2 bots at almost every nl cash table I've sat at.
Between the server instability issues and the cash tables having a minimum of 2 bots per table I don't think this site is worth playing if you have any other decent options. When you do get a good seat with a rec at the table there's a good chance either you or the rec get disconnected. It's a tilting experience.
anyone else having trouble logging on today?
This is a warning to other players on this site looking at the "exclusive birthday bonus" and wondering if it's worth grinding out the massive amount of tournaments and/or cash games you'd have to be eligible to receive one. It's absolutely not worth it. I received a $25 casino only bonus with a 5x rollover. Absolutely worth nothing to me.
And I didn't even get the bonus on my birthday! I came to the ignition casino forums and told them I didn't receive my bonus and I got some moderator who didn't even bother to look at my account give me a copy paste response saying it would be added automatically. They were wrong I had to complain until 2 months later I got a crappy slap in the face $25 casino only bonus. This site used to be good, but not anymore. Do not play here they don't care about the customers. Just my opinion.

It was better for a few weeks but it's back like before.
Less obvious colluding with the raise / reraises (sadly, this was so easy to stack them) but there's a bot profile playing zone 24/7 (limp, 2.5x, 3x HU) and SBvsBB PFR 2x or 2.5x
Also I can see that when this profile play regular game and I sit - the table fill's up quickish with other players that are probably the botfarm/colluding

Thanks for the insight and quick replies!
Could have just been lucky but I had no disconnects after the most recent software update. Anyone else have the same luck?

Nope I was disconnected from a table tonight. Came back to see AKs folded. I just don’t understand why the “disconnection protection” timebank doesn’t kick in.
I was hoping the update would fix the disconnection issues for me, but I had same probs last night as I have had
for last couple months. Hopefully in your case it fixed it, good luck
Does anybody from Bodog ever check this thread please? Or is there a discord contact available? I have money on the site that I cannot access and have sent 7/8 emails to the support email without response.

Where are people seeing "minimum of 2 bots per table" and "the most blatant collusion"? Point me to a thread or somewhere this can be shown to be true. I'm not a fulltime grinder but play regularly and I don't see suspicious play almost ever. But I'd like to be enlightened if it is actually true, and I'm not discounting that I just haven't noticed it either.
82$ tournament, 5 people before bubble. tour id : 70457748
1chip allin on river and bb folds, its supper funny
does it matter? both registered at the last second of late registration. both pressed time banks in the first hand. I think there were 5-7 of them at my table and they knew each other's cards) but it is still profitable to register with them at the last second..

Yeah I've run into these same people many times over the last couple months. I agree, overall, they are helpful because they're max stalling. It's just frustrating that they are card sharing and chip dumping

This really does matter. This is how we can stop the cheating and collusion on this site.
Here is another example from the afternoon $100+9 of what is very likely part of the same pair/group of players who are working together:
The players who are working together are the UTG, and Big Blind (Player# 273 and #274).
UTG already has 2.2x starting stack, while his partner in the BB only has 0.6x starting stack.
To make it more likely for them both to finish ITM, UTG can dump chips to BB. So, UTG opens KQs, BB defends J2s, they both max time bank every street, with the board running out KT257. Then on the river, with BB having 3400 chips remaining, UTG bets 3399, and folds top pair to BB's 1 chip raise. He folded top pair on the river getting literally 22,698:1 odds.
He did time out, to make it look less conspicuous. Less importantly, I would have thought that just betting 3k instead of 3399 would draw less attention, but I guess he got to dump an extra 399 to his partner and even out their stacks a little bit more.
I have sent Ignition several of these types of hands, but they don't respond at all.

Thank you for gathering these HH and reporting at least. As blatant as it possibly can get.

Sorry for the delayed response, I don't check on this thread as frequently as I used to.
I've tracked bots on a few different networks for several years. I play regular cash games and I can say with a very high level of certainty that this network's tables have had at least 2 bots per table almost every time I've sat at a table for over a year now. The bots have actually been around much longer than that, but the ratio of them at these tables compared to human players has increased in recent years, their strategies and winrates have improved and last year I witnessed some of the most blatant collusion from them I've seen on any site outside of app clubs. I can almost always spot them at the tables because they have easily identifiable tendencies, but sometimes I find some I missed in the downloadable HHs.
I made a post in here before, but it was moved to a different thread. Make sure to click on and read the whole Twitter post from Mobius Poker.

The amount of blatant collusion from them has been reduced in recent months, but the bots remain.
Unplayable due to disconnects tonight...
