in most countries all work to contribute to the system. in the u.s. lots dont so why do they deserve free anything if they dont pay into the system.

Depends? Probably different for each person. A few pops tends makes me happy and relaxed. Also much more impulsive. Which leads me to the ice cream which in turn has a more depressive effect because I know I'll need to excersize more and eat less for that indulgence.
I only did a half a pint last night of ice cream. Amazing willpower. No drinking alone.
I have enough opportunities this week to drink with friends a couple times this week anyway.

no doubt talenti has a place in by belly, but true gelato can not be topped

please don't get me wrong,
talenti is amazing and i have at least a dozen of their plastic containers in use for other things
but as John inferred, natural gelatio in italy is in a league of its own.
