Trump 2nd term prediction thread
So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.
A bit of an anemic OP, I know, just interested to hear people's thoughts now that the election uncertainty is over.

I love that these dunce caps think felony falsification of business records with the intent to conceal another crime is just nothing. Listing a business expense as a business expense.

Yeah it's kind of in the shock jock, punking, trolling mold. It will be quite interesting to see where it leads. Just as the universe threw a major reality at the non-reality party last time -- the corona virus -- I suspect it will do it again this time around. The eroding foundation of the country could wash away with any true adversity. The people in positions of power will be intentionally picked because of their incompetence. It's a self-punking electorate and an anti-party.

I don't think people are quite prepared for how much the country is about to change.

The independence of the DOJ will he greatly diminished. Trump will do his best to persecute his perceived enemies.
It didn't take long for this prediction to bear fruit. Nominating Gaetz is a disgrace. If you took the 500 most prominent law firms in the United States (some of which clearly have a conservative bent), I don't think Gaetz could get a job at any of them.

Advantages for republicans: the single most toxic congressman who singlehandedly took down mccarthy for lolz is now out of congress and you didn’t even have to vote him out or attack him to do so. The problem with that is there wasn't a crime he was trying to conceal, therefore the case should of been thrown out (which it was in prior courts).

The leading theory on this is men that don't understand consent don't like cats. Cats don't consent to petting as easily as dogs and some men can't handle that.
Anytime someone shows their hand about not liking cats it's a giant red flag.
