My take on trans issues is the same as before, and for some kind if a miracle, at least in words, trump went on video with the same.
Not a public dollar spent for trans at any stage, same as no money is spent for people with red hair specifically.
A complete legal ban on "trans care" for minors, as being trans isn't a medical issue and we need to protect not-actually-trans minors from permanent damage.
Full freedom for adults, on their own money, to self modify their body as they see fit, no question asked, no answer needed.

The trans issue was a big deal because it was indicative of how shallow and rotten the morality has gotten on the blue team.
I mean, millions of people voted for Trump this election that didn’t for him in ‘16. These aren’t people swept up in a cult.

I'm curious about how does it works when someone (gaetz and other potentials) resign from congress, is there a new election for the vacant seat?
How many people are going to have to resign and can it be influential relative to majorities?
i think if its a senator then the governor gets to pick an interim replacement, and then they have a proper election in due course. this means you can only really select people from states with governors on your team
the house is a bit different and the seat remains vacant for longer

My initial impulse seeing the cabinet appointments that this is bad for republicans but given how replacements are named in most of these cases this is double great for republicans
Vance's and Rubio's seats will be filled by the governor, and those replacements will serve until the 2026 mid-terms, at which time there will be a special election in those states. Florida and Ohio are dark red now so those aren't realistic options for the Democrats.

There was a clip of a debate for governor I think of Oklahoma and the republican candidate was bashing california and the democrat made the obvious point out that crime poverty etc in Oklahoma are significantly worse under far right rule and the audience just wouldn't believe her lol. The internet has made dumb people even dumber.

Well the problem is that the rules of this forum don't allow for a proper rebuttal but I think I can say, without being banned, that Oklahoma being the state with the most native residents as a % of the population is kinda relevant to assess comparisons in poverty rates and crime with other states.
Anyway the idea is that California should have Switzerland criminality, or lower, given how rich they are.
