So, looks like Trump not only smashed the electoral college, but is looking on track to win the popular vote, which seems to be an unexpected turn of events, but a clear sign of the current temperature in the country and perhaps the wider world.
Would be interested to hear views on how his 2nd term will pan out from both sides of the aisle - major happenings, what he's going to get done, what he's not going to get done, the impact of his election on the current conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, whether his popularity will remain the same, wane, or increase, etc.

Just one example and i won't go through all of them because it's just a waste of time, unions decreasing membership. True, but that happened everywhere including in countries where neoliberalism isn't even vaguely on the map and never was a single day (Italy, Spain, France), and it is blatantly and obviously and uncontroversially linked to the decreased magnitude of workforce in manufacturing. Very simply unions are a factory phenomenon first and foremost. They never happened strongly in services outside of a few niches where small amount of service workers all worked in the same place and acted as a bottleneck to entire industries.
Unions decreased in relevance because manufacturing decreased in relevance. In happened everywhere in the first world, it has nothing to do with "neoliberalism", and there is absolutely nothing you can do to change that (Germany and others tried, didn't work anywhere).
Not that unions were as good as depicted, they were the main cause of inflation and their demise is why the world had the longest low-flation era since forever (and inflation only came back because of unprecedented in world history mistakes while dealing with a pandemic, not because of economic causes).
Btw it's like that for all the other talking points: either false (like the debunked "salaries don't grow with productivity" thing which uses 2 different deflators and doesn't account for health benefits) or yes that happened but it wasn't neoliberalism.

Constitution has to be respected, which doesn't mean you can't take the very good bukele model and do everything he does which is constitutional in the USA.

Pretty sure that's exactly what's happening, correct. Anyone suspected of being in a gang goes to his fancy new prison and stays there until and unless they feel like letting them back out. Maybe if they're lucky they might get a lawyer and a trial after a few years, but the majority haven't even seen a judge I don't think.
