OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. He also just picked random numbers for today's video so he could make his point.

Four hours a day. 30 hours a week. 120 hours a month. 500 hours a year.

When today's video ends, there is a link to another video. It's titled My First losing month or something like that. I clicked it. He lost $71 in February of 2023 I believe. He was thrilled to put in 187 hours and only lose $71. He also mentioned he lost $1600 the month before but that doesn't count because he only played one week out of the mon

ELD never looses even at $71 loss the tier points or tier hours and comps he gained more than makes up for it. Plus if it was summer ELD received free air conditioning and place to sit down at least. Even at WAWA it still is full price to get a chicken salad sandwich and he cannot stay long term at WAWA, whereas in a casino after a few hours ELD can get free french fries and mayonaise.

Think Blue solicits responses on whether he should play a 200 hour $1-$2 challenge at Hollywood Park. Although no useful tier is obtained at Hollywood Park unlike the clearly superior Gold tier for 150 hours at MGM.

He first needs to get his minimum Uber hours to get Uber health insurance.

He then reports $138 as his Uber pay adjustment to get up to $18/hour.

Then he states that USA Today ranked Habbit Burger better than In and Out Burger although he states one can't go wrong with either one but thinks In and Out is better.

Had Habit Burger in Vegas a few weeks ago. It was thoroughly average.

You are missing the long game on this one. This can be paired for comped weekend boondocking nights. Since Discount Tire is closed on Sunday, then Nomads can sleep overnight in the tire store parking lot on Friday night, then install a nail and get a free tire on Saturday just as it opens. And thus Nomads can get up to four comped weekend boondocking nights sleeping in the tire store parking lot.

Why didn't I think of that?

My local Discount Tire was just outstanding. I had an M3 that went through tires like crazy. It wasn't because I drove like a maniac, because I was poor at the time and I wanted my tires to last as long as possible. But I put a lot of miles on my car because I had a very long commute and I had to buy new tires every 10 months. In other words, I spent a lot of time at Discount Tire. So I had apparently run over a screw or nail on an almost new tire, and took it in for a repair. They did that sort of repair for free. They told me it had a bulge in the sidewall, which I hadn't even noticed. They said they could tell somehow that it had been improperly mounted, iow it was their fault, and gave me a new tire for free.

I've cut back 75%+

El Diesel is clearing on the spectrum, going to grocery stores cause he likes the activity. Are you kidding? Whose got time for that?

Diesel has all the time in the world. What else is he going to do? Not play poker. Make and upload a video? That's an hour. Even he can only watch old, bad sitcoms for so long.

there's no chance thinkblue lasts 200 hours. The last time he said he was going pro he lasted around a month. I doubt he even has a bankroll to sustain any downswing.

TBC just dusted off 5k playing a single session of online BJ again. To put it in perspective that's about 15% of his net worth vaporised in a few hours and it's not a once off, he does this regularly.

Meanwhile Rice goes into such a hysterical meltdown if he loses 50 big blinds in a 1/3 game with AA that he has to not only quit the game and the challenge he is in the middle of doing for his channel, but also has to leave Las Vegas altogether.

It's interesting to see these two tortured souls suffering from the same affliction, yet the manifestations are worlds apart when it comes to certain traits and dispositions. They both share the same obsession with numbers and figures, they both live a nomadic itinerant lifestyle, but other than that, they operate very differently.

TBC pulls way more hot chicks than Rice ever thought about.

You think Rice thinks about women? Hell no. Asexual.

Think Blue has 38 sports bets today. Then he goes to the LA Kings hockey game in VIP seating. Think Blue then revises his challenge to 500 hours of poker due to mean comments.

Meanwhile ELD gives financial advice on how to save at least 5% on Airbnb. ELD has a long term coupon strategy and buys gift cards at a discount with his cash back credit card thereby double dipping on savings. ELD minimizes expenses which makes him the poker player with the most longevity since he saves money while others blow through their bankrolls on frivolous expenses. A commenter on ELD's video appears to endorse the Airport Nomad's method of washing clothes in the shower and ELD likes the comment.

It should be noted that Airport Nomad completed 24 days living in airports including Singapore airport sleeping pod and washes her clothes by putting them on the shower floor. This of course begs the question, instead of putting clothes on a shower floor with bacteria and fungi why not keep the clothes on get the clothes wet and apply soap to the clothes and then take each item off during the course of the shower and set it up to dry? Once the Nomad is naked then the shower can end and the clothes will then be clean as well.

If he could make $15-20/hour playing poker he'd be grinding right now and actually doing it and not driving uber and doing a $1,000 sports betting "challenge".

amazing how he's so motivated by a random commenter rather than motivated to be the best version of himself on his own.

If he could do it he would have been doing it already. This reminds me of the pman challenges, are they really a challenge if the amount at stake is actually all you have in your bankroll?

When thinkblue had all the time in the world and said he would be playing poker for a living he had a 2 week break even stretch and basically gave up and barely lasted a month before working in sportsbook. Why does he think he can just snap his fingers and change his abilities?

Then he spent his time barely playing poker and playing donkaments rather than grinding and making money. When winning poker players need to make money they play more poker.

You can tell that he is bad at handling downswings because during his sportsbetting challenges he tilt bets more when he's down to try to minimize his losses, it's worked so far but when he doesn't get lucky it's going to cripple him.

It'll be an interesting challenge but his life has shown that he's not cut out for poker and that he's not a winning player.

He's been vlogging for 5 months? "500 hour challenge" why hasn't he been doing it up until now? 500 hours is nothing in 5 months when you work part time.

Amazing he calls himself a poker player but doesn't actually play poker.

Literally no one is beating a $1/2 50 BB max buy-in game for $15/20 hour.

There's a few of them out there.

Umm, did anyone catch diesel talking about infamous body builder and gay sex worker Kai Greene today? What an odd person to bring up in a poker vlog to talk about eating chicken and rice. I did a double take because I assumed diesel liked Daria type girls, but I won’t go any further than that.

The Trooper provides MGM Grand parking garage content in the latest video and yearns for poker and gets chills when visiting the strip:

Dude... come on.
What kind of thing is that to say for a friend of T's and a former law enforcement officer.

by IQofTwoPlusTwo k

Not necessarily. He might not know anything deep down. He appears to have no self awareness or ability to self reflect.

What ever he thinks or does is always absolutely correct and always the very best thing to think or do. There are no other viewpoints or alternatives.

You can't rule out some form of autism/aspergers, and what he is doing is being the best he can be.

Having spent a bit of time in Vegas playing poker and making many friends who work in casinos and pokers rooms here, that personality type and those psychological traits tend to be very prevalent in the employees. This is because these people are the type the casino wants working in areas where money and chips are involved. It doesn’t surprise me he was able to get employed and was asked to stay on part time, he is exactly the type of person would fits into the casino machine. I agree that he is effectively the opposite of the degenerate gamblers who keep the lights on in Vegas. Long term someone like him either becomes disenchanted with the idea of gambling/playing for a living and leaves, or becomes a full time employee within the industry (assuming that they philosophically agree with the rules and regulations that keep everything moving) , there is really no middle ground.

Looking forward to Rice showing us how to drive to Japan. And where to get trans-pacific 7-11 gas station pizza in Samoa for $1.75.

How is Hustler live poker rated 18+?

Is it clothes optional?

Are they swearing in Mandarin?

Uh, because it's gambling?

ELD reports from Atlantic City Harrah's and reads a never ending litany of grammatically incorrect mean comments and argues that some of the mean comments are actually complimentary to ELD. Miserable viewers demand ELD eat more vegatables and stop eating breakfast pizza.

A discussion of minimum wage occurs and ELD makes a finding that he earns more than minimum wage, although ELD fails to mention California's $20 minimum wage for fast food workers.

In conclusion all critisism of ELD will be summarily dismissed if there are grammar infractions.

What is his obsession with Indicating the number 3 with his pinky, middle finger and fore finger? When I do it it seems so unnatural and uncomfortable.

I love how he says he doesn't care what fans think but cares enough to do these videos. He says he has done 15 hand histories. He has probably done more than 1,000 videos. So that's a super high percentage.

He also doesn't understand the concept of rounding. People say 10 bb/hr because it's a round number that is easy to understand.

It appears proofreaders are homeless, argumentative, bald, and earn less than the minimum wage.
