Just because I think it's funny. Plus
the simpsons are not restricted by arbitrary units of ten
and has there been any mention of the space coyote?
there are multiple top quotes from that episode alone
This thread has turned into Simpson's thread #346
"No, you just winged him and made him a Unitarian."
Played by none other than Johnny Cash. I wonder if the character was written specifically for him.
please share the other scenarios you think it might be
A character that was written without consideration to who would voice him and then someone said, "Johnny Cash would be perfect for this. Do you think we can get him?"
One of my favorite Simpsons stories is after they brought back Fat Tony for his 2nd appearance, they didn't call Joe Mantegna to do the voice.
When the episode aired he called them up and said, 'Why didn't you call me? I'll do all the voice work you want for Fat Tony!' They thought he wouldn't be interested.
So they did, and he does.
A character that was written without consideration to who would voice him and then someone said, "Johnny Cash would be perfect for this. Do you think we can get him?"
turns out it was originally written with both Cash and Dylan in mind
likely no coincidence either coy highwaymen or outlawed toy cowboy figurings
perhaps the answer might be found somewhere in a country to the north

lol John...I love that
10 Greatest Iterations of Comedic Genius in Hollywood History in no particular order after 1-3.
1 Simpsons
2 Laurel and Hardy
3 Monty Python--I'm not sure who produced their films or whatever but I'm counting them.
4 Seinfeld
5 Honeymooners
6 Woody
7 Sturges
8 Coens
9 Keaton/Chaplin, take your pick (Keaton).
10 Letterman
11 It would be silly to exclude Mel Brooks.
I feel bad excluding the Farleys, and Matt + Trey, but can live with it. I'd like to include Spinal Tap, Christopher Guest and that whole cluster but it's hard to define.
I wonder if people still get introduced to Laurel and Hardy, Keaton and other classics. When I was a kid, they were considered cheap programming filler for TV stations, and I was inundated by them. A lot of my sense of humor was formed by watching W. C. Fields and the Marx Brothers.
I like that Sturges is named above. He had a great run of films.
Duck Soup was a staple on New Year's Eve. I'm not sure why. My kids grew up with me singing "Lydia, the Tattooed Lady" and watching Laurel and Hardy and the Marx Brothers.
So many great films were used as filler. One local station showed most of Bergman's early films and Powell and Pressburger films, even Peeping Tom.

Someone was born post 2001
No. I've got ones that are twenty-five years old. If you keep them out of direct sunlight, they last.
I found one, Magnetism for Men, in a store in West Virginia, long after it was discontinued for 15 bucks. It still smells the same 15 years after I bought it. Sellers on eBay are trying to get 400.00 or more now.

Dior Homme was pretty good.
I think Kenneth Cole had one many years ago that I also used, surprisingly good, at least the reactions I got.
Does it have a little ship on the bottle?
