turn sizing leaves us in a weird SPR situation. if we had $100 or $200 more behind then at low stakes I would say this spot is just always a bet/fold because we're rarely ever going to get bluff raised. as played basically any bet size commits us. I'd like $20, $50, $80 leaving us with $100 behind.

Does it make sense to check call as we unblock the busted flush draws?

Feel like there should have been a check somewhere. All sorts of QJ/KT/K9 holdings that improved on the turn. Your turn bet is basically going after weak Aces and flush draws. But I might have checked the flop multiway OOP with this decent but non-nutted hand which is unlikely to improve and won't be worth three streets of value on almost any runout.

If we bet it's as a blöff and are we getting an unknown at 1/2 to fold two pair? Check-fold (expecting to win occasionally when it goes check-check and we come up against Ax or KXdd) feels good now.

I'm not sure about the turn bet. We block QJ/J8 and most Ax (A2-A8) are folding. We do get value from KQ and Ax with spades.

I mean, I don't mind a turn bet if we'd checked flop (similar to what moxterite says).

As played, I'd x-c the river

I don't like the flop sizing at all, depending on how fishy the 2 players seem I either bet 55 and shove any kinda blank turn, or I check the flop.

As played I check/call river now, most players will not slowplay their 2pair+ on this kind of board, AQ will most likely check behind, and there are some combo draws which could have called the turn.

.

I'd check flop from OOP as the PFR, to let opponents stab at it. If the flop checks through, I'd make a delayed c-bet.

The turn bet sizing here is awkward. Think I'd prefer much smaller, like 1/2 pot, or much bigger, like 1.3x pot.

As played, I probably jam river, but could also see checking to induce a bluff.

Check the turn, bluff catch the river.

weird line. we're at the bottom of our value range here.

People favoring check on the turn, are you thinking x/c or x/f?

It depends

x/f is objectively terrible with how much air we have that's going to stab the flop then give up the turn

We kind of made this bed with bet small/bet big. We have $150 behind and pot is $230. If we truly have no reads at all I think we have to bet the river. What hands does V have that played this way that beat us other than AQ/A3/K3dd.

One note on slow play, is there a high hand jackpot. Where I play when it gets large (500+) people will play flopped under sets this way. They will never bet or raise until the river.

So you favor x/c turn and barrel any river brick?
