Am I missing something, or is the new DIY bonus ridiculous, and it’s almost impossible to achieve more than a 100 dollar bonus?

it would really be a grind...
but it obv depends on your usual stake, and volume

FWIW, OCR =/= to points. Each level is 1,000 points, if it helps estimate how many points you usually earn. so if you are at level 100 so far this month, you've earned 100k points this month. and you'd need to earn 100k more (reach level 200) in the next 8 days to hit the $200 bonus

easier way to look at it

5 levels gained = $5 bonus
50 levels gained = $100 bonus
100 levels gained = $200 bonus
250 levels gained = $500 bonus
500 levels gained = $2000 bonus

Thank you for this information! I thought every level was worth 320 points, not 1000. Now 200 dollars seems attainable!

How do you opt in to this cash game promotion? I saw a button for it the first time I clicked on the banner, now that button doesn't show up anymore.

I you're talking about the diy bonus, check your emails.

I you're talking about the diy bonus, check your emails.

i didnt get this email or any of the past ones, i talked to live support they opted me in supposedly. i also mentioned i havent been getting the emails and he said hed escalate it to marketing department so i recommend asking if you arent

they usually appear in promotions tab on gmail

My account was randomly inactivated for the last two weeks. After many follow ups, this email arrived stating, " We have conducted an investigation into your account and have identified behavior that suggests your account is being intentionally shared between multiple parties."

I have to re-upload documents to be reactivated, but has anyone dealt with this before?

It is literally just me using the account. I use it at work on my phone, and I play either on my phone or computer while at home (two locations for 99% of my play). I do not know what else to do and I am afraid whatever risk and security process they have will be alerted and my account will be permanently banned, for something that is not the case.

I am on the phone with them again explaining same, and they instructed me to write that in the email when I re-upload my documents. I just want to provide context to the supervisor that is it only me playing and the ways in which I play (on my phone at work and on my phone/computer at home) won't change. I would prefer not to leave the site altogether, but I also do not want to be permanently banned for something I am not doing.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

It's scummy of them not to make this bonus retroactive. I don't usually check my email prior to every session.

Did the Blast change since the merger?

I remember before blast were 4 players and sometimes top 2 got paid? I recently played some since I had tickets now it's 3 handed and winner take all? And it doesn't seem to force you to go all in anymore?

I doubt I'll get an answer on this, are these worth grinding? People who play these is it to get RB or can you actually make profit on these? I haven't been able to find any strategy on these. I play lowest buyin ones.

Thanks!

Yes it has changed to 3 handed. I haven't personally played them since the merger but I don't think many players profit on them. I used to look up a lot of players on ProPokerLabs and almost all of them who had Blast tournaments listed in their "top 5 most played" were losing at them. There was even one player who had won a top prize and was still losing long term because they had played over 20k of them.

They are basically a slot machine where you might get lucky short term, but if you play them long term you will pretty much always be losing.

Considering you play the lowest stakes version ($0.30), profit will be extremely hard considering those stakes don't offer leaderboard incentives.

At your stakes, you earn 3 points per $0.30 game, and need 1,000 points in order to advance to level 2 rewards (earning 20 reward points).
*After playing 334 spins, you will have only earned 20 rewards points (80 points are required for $1 bonus).
*After playing 1,334 spins you earned a $1 bonus.
*On top of all that, your rakeback level resets every month, so if you made it to level 100 (earning more rakeback than at level 1 & 2), you would drop back down to level 1, regardless how much you play.

Also, keep in mind that the WSOP blast jackpot (regardless of stakes) has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of hitting. Other sites have a 5 in a million or even a 10 in a million chance of hitting.

Talk about not paying attention, someone rolled a 100x $10 BLAST and they forgot to opt in to the leaderboard and missed out on guaranteed 2nd or 3rd place. Guess their $100 or $200 for placing in the BLAST is decent consolation.

Congrats to saltyboiboi for taking down the $700 for first plus the easy leaderboard win

I've had a reasonable amount of success in these. There's decent value in the leaderboard. I only play them if I've had success early on so that I have a chance to place in the leaderboard. If I lose a couple early I just move onto the next buy in level.

The thirty $20 blasts is definitely a grind, but there's great value in getting a high score.

I try to average 4 points per tournament to continue grinding.

Also the rake back once you get though the low challenge levels is pretty good too.

I sure picked a bad time to have my luckiest run ever in these $10 BLASTs. Won two 5x and one 10x. Glad that third person in the 100x today didn't opt in for the leaderboard though so I can claim third place (hopefully).

2x, 3x, and 5x are winner take all

10x and 25x pay 20%/80%

100x and 1000x pay 10%/20%/70%

The higher spins have longer rounds and more starting chips.

I honestly think WSOP's structure for these is the best I've seen.

So would you say RB got worse on WSOP? So say I hit level 40 this month. I don't really get the true benefits since my RB resets next month right? Thanks for answering.

I'm not sure what it used to be. I've only been playing on here for a couple months.

Fun times trying to get hands in yesterday for DIY bonus only to lose FIVE AA all in pre flops, full stacks. 0 for ****ing 5. Also ran extremely bad in all other hands. Now bankroll is destroyed trying to grind for a $500 bonus LOOOOOL. Lost a total of 15 buy ins. Probably have 10 million hands under my belt and that was the worst session equity wise I can remember.

Ugh, I know the feeling of losing a bunch trying to grind for a relatively much smaller bonus. That sucks.

I just want to ask what everyone else got. Is the above calculation wrong? I gained 112 levels, and only received 10 dollars. So it is not 1000 points/level? How could anyone get even close to earning more than a 100 in bonus money? Or did WSOP make a mistake?

I was 20 levels from the $500. I was planning on grinding all day and half way through day I realized I would need an extra 3 hours I didn't have so that sucked. After losing 80% of my bankroll on this DIY bonus I'll never do it again. Lost 3k for a $200 bonus.

They made a mistake. You should have gotten the $200 bonus. Are you sure you cleared 100 levels AFTER you opted in??

I got the $200 one, not sure how many levels i gained, but I'm at 958 for the month. If the points were similar to how they ran the DIY bonus on the old client, then the $2k was almost impossible. On the old client they would always give us 2 weeks for the DIY and then for your birthday bonus DIY, they'd give you a month to earn it.

Yes, I took pics, I immediately opted in, and gained 112 levels. I guess I should contact WSOP?

This is the response I got on the chat. Can anyone make sense out of this? How does this translate to points per level? Thank you so much for your help
