I saw a case of mexican orange fanta in bottles for $28 and who doggy I thought about it. Just couldn't pull the trigger on like 46 grams of sugar per bottle.

I don't partake in soda unless I can get Wild Cherry Pepsi.

That is McMuffin's #1 ranked soda OAT!

I stick to either coke zero, cherry coke zero, diet a&w, or occasionally diet mountain dew.

If I want to mix it up I may go with fantasy zero.

I recently found a zero sugar lemonade at Sam's Club that is pretty good too. I also like propel, and I'll get the zero calorie drink mixes for water as well. I don't like plain water as much but I do make sure I drink some every day.

I don't like plain water either. I prefer mine with hops and malted barley.

I'll have a Coke every day with lunch. Just a habit.

I agree most with CowboyCold though.

No Coke. Pepsi.

Actually it is neither for me. I haven't had a coke (generic in my neighborhood) in > 25 years. That was among the things I simply lost a taste for when I first went on a low-carb diet. The cravings, or even tolerance, for soft drinks never came back as I went on and off low-carb.

Not quite as long as Tom, but I haven't had a coke (generic in my neighborhood too) since 2009. The Garick version since 2005, lol.

Forgot to mention. This is one of the few communities that skew old enough to get the reference Tom made.

Favorite outside the box cheese for burgers?

lol at the fred meyer/kroger near me selling 12 packs of soda/coke/pop for $9 regular price. of course they'll have a BOG4 sale every month to make you stock up. probably coincides with some earnings report.

we keep diet 7up around for spouse and sometimes i'll have a sip to remind myself we're out of whiskey

I just use the DTs to do that.
It isn't pleasant, but I haven't run out of whiskey in a very long time.

Exactly what I was going to say, although I was on the fence whether this qualified as "outside the box" or not.

This wtf moment doesn't quite fit the "pissed me off" thread as it amused me more than anything else, so I'm dropping it here.

I had breakfast at a Waffle House recently and when I went to pay I entered a $3 tip into the credit card doo-hickey. $3 was between 20-25% of my check. It flashed me a message asking me if I really meant to tip $3. I had never encountered that message before. I assume it was due to being > 20% of the check, but $3?!?! Maybe that's a standard message that I simply had never seen before.

I walked out just shaking my head and giggling. I wonder if the Waffle House employees know that their credit card processor is monitoring their tips so closely. It's not like those poor bastards don't have enough problems without Big Brother making sure they don't get an extra 50c here and there ...

do the hickey from credit card companies sucking fees still show up on your neck like lamprey teeth at a high school dance

That may just be a default setting to make sure each tip is entered accurately.
