was nice to see Waddle back in the mix

MIA has a shot. more than the bungles can claim

Yeah I'm not getting my hopes up unless they can beat the Packers. That's probably the toughest game they have left. Short week, good opponent, and freezing weather.

ngl, it was entertaining to see every pregame show list the 4-7 Bengals as "in the mix" on their playoff hunt graphic.

Bengals can run the table and get in at 10-7. They play Steelers twice and Broncos so they gain immediate ground on teams they would be chasing.

Will it happen? Unlikely. But the other three are just Cowboys, Titans, Browns.

In the mix is a far cry, ya. But a small window.

Lions currently #1 in PPG and #2 in points allowed per game

I wonder if any team has been #1 in both?

2007 Pats were 1 in points and 4th in fewest PA

by newguyhere m

Tua with 11 TDs, 1 INT, and completing well over 70% in his last 5 games.

Not even the great Jorsh Allen has ever had a 5-game stretch that good.

Lol this reminds me of that Mad Men scene where Jon Ham is in the elevator and some tool says, I feel bad for you," and Ham replies, "I don't think of you at all "

Dolphins fans are always thinking about Josh. Bills fans don't think of Tua at all.

Except when it looks like he will be there for a long time. And we smile.

'96 Packers came to mind.

Seems like it's true: 28.5/13.1 for and against.

I thought leprechauns lived in Mobile, Alabama.

endless fields of potatoes could have been another counterpoint

Playoff Teams

9. Chargers (7-3)
10. Commanders (7-4)
11. Niners (5-5)
12. Texans (7-4)
13. Cardinals (6-4)

rankings should be fun with loads of "playoff teams" losing this week

Lions are 11 (!) point favorites vs the Bears.

Thanksgiving!!!!!

I’m thankful for all of you great posters in SE !!!

Spoiler

Especially SRM. He’s my favorite poster.

Fifth tier is back. Need to delineate.

So many middling teams that can play to a high level in a small sample, but definitely aren't elite.

1. Eagles

Nice work.

Yes. Well done. Very impressive season by them

2. Bills (9-2)

5. Ravens (8-4)

I doubt any other NFL team could sneak into the NFC or AFC Championship game.

#1. Chargers were #1 in both offensive and defensive yards in 2010 and missed playoffs

1972 Dolphins were #1 on both sides of the ball in points AND yards

Are the 49ers drawn dead from winning the NFC West?

Or it's just super unlikely?

they are still live, all the teams in their division suck

8-9 can potentially get it done

****in' Nice. I bet 49ers/Lions/Chiefs division parlay before the season.

Yards is meh imo. Points is the thing

I concur. Chicks dig points.

I’m only pointing out this logical inconsistency because I know you’re intellectually pure about power ranking the teams as you see them. Which I appreciate.

I can understand the negative case for the Falcons. Calling them enigmas is charitable, since they’re frisky at their best, but ugly at their worst. I might think 19 is too low, but…

17. Bucs (5-6)
19. Falcons (6-5)

The Falcons DID beat the Bucs already, twice.
