If DeVonta Smith is a go, he’s more of a WR3/4 this year, even against the Ravens defense… which has been a bit better the past two weeks (relatively speaking). I noticed a bit more of a “shell” coverage/strategy and talked to Jeff Zrebiec. He confirmed that after the Bengals game, changes were needed, and that the Ravens started focusing on keeping things in front and avoiding big plays allowed. That included benching Marcus Williams, releasing Eddie Jackson, playing Kyle Hamilton deeper and rotating more defensive backs, including first-round pick, Nate Wiggins. So, Smith isn’t a lock given these changes.
