Technically, according to the OP of this thread, buyers only are supposed to post. I think that goes back to the former owners and the For Profit nature of the forum. They probably preferred Sellers pay as advertisers.
As things are now, I really don't see any issues with posts like these being made, especially by long time posters in good standing like Myrna. Anyone have any reasonable objections to us allowing these sort of posts? PM me if you don't want to object publicly. The General Marketplace is now wide open, with no requirements for posting, so I don't think having to have some kind of prior approval should be an issue.

Hi !
I need a room close to Aria from 11-22 december. Just pm me.
Thanks guys for this Part of the Forum. I really appreciate this here !
Looking for a room. At least 6 months. I’m 49 white male. Gonna be playing full time. No car for now. Dream would be something bike or walking distance from bus or monorail. Maybe somewhere near the Sahara. Happy to pay first, last and deposit.

saw that koval lane apartments had a couple open apartments . it's literally behind mgm grands backside.. if you don't drive it's as close as you can be to the strip if it's not the jockey club .
it's a little shady the area but nothing a 49 year old dude can't handle.. cheapest you'll find next to the strip.

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like any older 1960s apt building. Any 1 bedroom under $1000 is good with me. And you’re right, I can handle a bad neighborhood. I was homeless, lived in my car and lived in bad parts of New Orleans and Los Angeles. And that spot seems perfect for using the monorail to get around which I read is $1 per ride for locals. I saw another building called the 211 that’s at the other end by Sahara. Also looks sketchy but has studios for $700. Know anything about that place?

its much further away from the action imo..
you can reach mgm grand poker room, mandalay bay , and aria poker room within 30 minutes , (grand in under 10). from the koval lane apts
if i was grinding those games and did not have a SO i would def consider that area .
the 211 apartments i know about are near downtown,, that is not near the poker action..
if i were you i would come out here for a week or so and explore your options.. koval lane apts ,kyle house apts, oasis apts , are best for walking distance near poker rooms .
if you need a room on the strip for that week , shoot me a DM .

Anyone know what happened to the Extended Stay Americas. Looks like they all got shut down or…?
Hi everyone! I’m looking for a short-term rental for WSOP 2025 in Las Vegas.
📅 Dates: June 22 – July 4 (flexible)
📍 Location: Near Horseshoe/Paris (or within reasonable distance)
💰 Budget: Open to discussion, aiming for a fair split
👤 About Me: 30-year-old software engineer, single male, clean and responsible, planning to play small WSOP events. I prefer a quiet, respectful environment with like-minded roommates.
✅ Ideal Setup: Airbnb or rental share, non-smoking, no party house
If you're also looking for housing or have an extra room available, let’s connect and discuss options!
I'm looking to go out to Vegas for the WSOP from the first week of June to the end of the ME, looking for potential housemates or roommates. 33 year old male, looking to play smaller events (sub 1ks, WSOP 1500s). DM me if you're interested in splitting something OR already live there and have a room available to sublet out.
I'm in contract to buy a fixer 2BR / 2 BA condo near UNLV. It's a gated hi-rise with gym, pool, jacuzzi, sauna.
I'm M, early 60's. Politics are far left of center and I write about climate change and politics. I also play small stakes poker tourneys to get out and about.
I'm interested in finding a roomie to help balance the budget.
I'm guessing it would be ready for occupancy around July 1.
