Anybody heard of this site? If yes, how is it?
Hello, everyone!
I recently received my first warning for "bumhunting." They mentioned a couple of recreational players, but I honestly don’t recall the specific instances. I always play at least 10 hands when I sit at a table. Sometimes I leave the table once a recreational player is gone, and other times I play one more orbit—it depends on whether the table breaks or not.
IÂ’ve noticed that many players leave immediately after a recreational player leaves, yet they seem to have hundreds of thousands of hands logged without receiving any warnings from GG.
Could someone explain what exactly I need to do to avoid a second warning?
Should I always play 10 hands + 1 orbit after the recreational player leaves?
Should I avoid following recreational players when they leave one table and join another to prevent being flagged for "predatory behavior"?
Is there anything else I should be mindful of to stay compliant?

Play rush. Or just open x ammount of tables and play them untill you end the session. Honestly there isn't much you can do. And obv yeah don't follow recs. Even scanning the tables before sitting in is hunting from ggs pov.

I don't play there but after reading the Ts & Cs and the Security & Ecology policy playing on GG looks like pokers equivalent of crossing a minefield.
Does anyone have a guess as to whether a winrate of like 4-5bb/100 is attainable at the 9max ante tables? At like 100 or 200?
I've hear rake is high on the site, but also have heard the games are decent...
Obviously very hard to answer, but if someone was playing at a very high level do you think this is possible still?

On GGPoker, is there a way of pretty much reducing its CPU usage as much as possible? Finding it quite laggy recently and running on a decent spec laptop.

Assuming Windows PC
Search google for how to limit CPU usage of an application if the below doesn't help.
Right click the bottom navigation bar and choose Task Manager, find GGpoker under the processes tab, right click on GGpoker, choose go to details. On the details tab, right click on GG again then navigate to set priority and reduce the priority to see if that helps.
This likely will still hog CPU usage as you are actively using the app, but it might put some other running processes ahead in the priority queue and could help a bit.
If you have a Mac, I'm of no help.

Yeah few people asked about this in the reddit but no answers yet. They cut spins lb atleast for the higher places ~20% and probably the same with other formats. Weird part is that the biggest lbs ever were suppoused to start today. Gues just wait and see if something happens tomorrow. If not then need to move along atleast I wont be paying 20% more rake.

Yes leaderboards have been cut across the board. he mystery battle royal ones are reduced heavily also.
I looked at the guy and the results are misleading because they include the rake.
Real winrate could be around 0-4bb/100
What do you mean include rake? If it didn't include rake the like the craft it would ne misleading. That's from the hn2 tracker right? That can be winrate instead of allin ev adj wr though but why would you put that there when you are not selling coaching etc?

My guess is that they are giving the lbs back when the 12 days of xmas starts. Or atleast I hope so lol. Every single time there is something "extra" the fund it from somewhere else. So in the longer run nothing changes.

Yeah I don't play those games but I do know they are raked hard. But again that tracker shows the results with rake. And they play most of the time 200bb+ so you can have a big wr there. And again I do not know is that ev or just bb/100.

Paying a fee to reduce variance is for stupid people. Play games you are rolled for and don't play so deep it hurts to lose. If the situation is like ipoker where the cashout is free then I would take it. There was a post in reddit (or here) where some idiot took the cashout having set of aces over set of kings ott and the bbjp would have been like 50x the ammount he would have lost to the one out. Stupid people.

Not worth. But always ask to run it twice or 3 times option, it nicely reduces variance withou any drawbacks.
im not sure if i should post this here but here goes, is anyone having trouble with poker craft its like its frozen for me!! ive been playing the last couple days and the cashes/games played has been stuck on the same numbers? any ideas?
