like the last guy said, it's basic stuff, but helpful at the start of any poker career. don't judge a book by it's cover!
The thing i cant stand about BR79 are all his do this one thing and you'll be a winner videos.
I have been a subscriber of his newsletter for some time. His posts are engaging without committing to a full on study session. He also offers a structured approach with his poker university course. Over all a good author and content creator. Glad to see other people have seen this as well.

I bought his books years ago, and while they’re fine for beginners, they feel outdated for today’s games. I haven’t tried his video courses, but if he hasn’t updated his strategies, they might be outdated too.
There’s also a stigma against being a "microstakes specialist, " and some dismiss his accomplishments for not moving up in stakes. But honestly, I think it’s his marketing style that turns people off! 😅
So, I think if you're a total beginner, it's fine to purchase his books as a starting point. However, you should find additional resources.
