My name is Alex and I have been playing poker professionally for 3 years. Started playing 2/5 live right away after covid and crushed, now transitioned to playing online on various sites (WPT, Canadian locked sites, private apps). I have worked with a few students for live poker to great success and looking to help contribute more.

Hi Alex,
I really appreciate your summary of the attitude“serious and hardworking mindset” toward being a live poker player. Back in 2022, I was a part-time online player and managed to progress from NL30 to NL200 within a year. I've attached a screenshot of my results from NL50 and NL100 during that period.
After 2023, I quit online poker due to work and study commitments. Of course, another reason was realizing that playing at NL200 and beyond required a significant amount of time to analyze the player pool and conduct hand reviews, which I couldn't fully commit to. As a result, I barely studied poker seriously in 2023 and mainly participated in home games.
Starting in 2024, I began playing 2/5 live games at the casino periodically. While I’ve been profitable overall, I still lack a systematic approach with clear exploitative strategies for different player types and whole player pool. This has led me to aspire to develop a systematic and heuristic learning method—similar to what I relied on during my online poker days—and stick to it consistently.
