[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread
Since WSOP locked their thread, why can't we have our own?
I got my 25 percent free play bonus and it was way less than expected. It seems like a mistake. Does anyone know how much 25 percent is per level?
I also have a question about the 25% bonus. Could someone explain the math to me, before I email WSOP? I made 115k points in the week in November that I had to beat. I made 143k points in this promo week, an increase of 28k points, I only received 73 dollars in bonus money. Is this right? It is way less than I expected. If someone could make sense out of this I would really, really appreciate it!
Yeah I also got way less than I thought.

Example:
If you earned 5,000 points November 17-24 and earned 5,500 wagering points December 1-8 you would earn $12.50 in free play.
My numbers are similar to yours anna^. did about 130k in points, a bit more this time around to cover it and only got like $65. Who knows, maybe the rest will come tomorrow morning like last time.
This is from the T&C of the bonus and it makes absolutely zero sense. Using this formula, if you earned 100k pts in November, and 150k pts in December, you'd earn 100k/50k = 2 * 0.25 = $0.50. Unless I'm reading this wrong ... I'm admittedly very confused lol.

Yes I’m very confused too. Then I thought maybe you get 25 dollars for every 1000 point increase, another way to look at their dumb example. But that seems too good to be true. I really wish someone could explain the actual formula used……
Do you mind if I ask what you wrote? I'd like to send one as well, and maybe if they get the same or similar emails, they will take action. (I typically play 100NL.)
i think the new change to 20bb min buyin is not good, it forces the games to play smaller and makes less rake for the site
The last time they did the 25 percent back I felt like I the right amount. This time I feel like I got around 5 percent back.

I thought if you cleared the target points, the free play bonus would be either 25% of the rake contributed November 17-24 or 25% of the rake contributed December 1-8. Instead, mine was much lower. I thought they made a typo in the example.
That's how I read it as well, that we would get %25 back of rake contributed. The example of 12.50 for 5,000 points implies as much:

Has anyone contacted support?

I sent them an email, I think everyone should, maybe that will get their attention. I’m waiting on a reply, and will update here when I get one.
Does anyone know what the deal is with this new BS that Rampart casino in Nevada has? They say it's 5-card draw but it's multiplayer, doesn't make sense, if it was truly a multi-player poker game then why wouldn't they have a regular online poker site?
I have seen many articles about this, and each is less informative than the other, the app is available for download. I doubt the picture here is really the software, how would you play multi player 5-card draw with board cards? lol

My take on it ... just from looking at the link you posted... and understanding (somewhat) the regulation that exists in Nevada:
Its video poker? But they can't offer mobile casino gaming? So they have to market it in a way that allows it to fall into a 'multi-player', 'live' poker type model and bypass this particular roadblock.... so perhaps there's some link in progressive payouts between users to bypass that particular issue to allow them to offer it legally?
I mean, i think its pretty clear its simply video poker LOL and not multi-player poker... so im not sure. Id speculate pretty comfortably its about getting around in-state legislative road blocks, but exactly what component of it is multi-player outside of the fact that multiple people are playing it... all independent from one another? I have no idea, LOL.
Regarding how the points worked I finally figured it out. When the level completes (1000 points) you get the reward depending on your tier. At the beginning of each month I think you get 80 rewards points per level (80 points =$1 in rake back) so for every level you get $1 in rake back. Then when you get to what I believe is the top cap for the month you get 320 rewards points for each level completed so $4 in rake back.
FWIW I got about what I expected on this promotion based of levels completed

So I figured I would check this out of curiosity. Big mistake. After the verification process, I deposited 50 dollars. My 10 dollars bonus went right into my account, great but did I mention there was a 5.50 fee to deposit regardless what method? Insane! Now I'm pot committed and have to at least see how it works. I tried every stake and you can't play the video poker against someone if there is no one else playing lol. I'm the only idiot that deposited! I'm patient zero lol. I think their cut of this is worse than anything I've ever heard if I'm understanding the rules correctly. For example at a 5 dollar hand against someone, if you win you get 5 dollars so you're even going into the video poker payouts the loser is down 5 going into the video poker payouts. The video poker payouts are horrible. It doesn't even seem possible. jacks or better= 1.25, Three of a kind= 7.00 Full House= 30.00, 4 of kind= 150.00 and a Royal= 5500.00. Nothing about a straight or a flush so who knows. So I'm not sure since I didn't play against anyone but if I win with a pair of Aces, I profit 1.25 and my opponent loses 5 or 3.75 if he a pair of Jacks, Queens, or Kings. Also the app is very buggy and kicks you off waiting to play someone that doesn't exist. Also this is funny, when you can't find a game they tell you to share this with friends so you can play someone. Also if you win over 200 dollars, you can write a review to get an extra 15 bonus. It sounds like I've made this all up because no company can be this insane.
lol, thanks for taking one for the team.
So i finally got a game at the 2 dollar level. It's just as bad as I thought. He lost a lot as I was beating him most hands and I lost 11 dollars. So I had 49 left because of the 10 dollar bonus. It said instantly cash out so I'm like cool. 2 dollar fee for instant withdrawal. It might be higher as I think it is a percentage. Then I put in the code and it won't let me cashout without playing more. I'm not sure how much I have to play to get out of this mess. I think I played around 30 hands. My guess is he lost around 30 dollars and I lost 11.
I have seen the TV commercial for Terrible's about this twice this morning. lol
This seems like some scammy BS. I can't believe NV Gaming approved this.
Does anyone know if you can clear the DIY bonus and a deposit bonus at the same time? Or will the deposit bonus only get cleared after I have finished the DIY bonus? New $400 deposit bonus as of today. PLAYER24
Also, fwiw, I never got the DIY bonus email. I talked to support the day I realized it and complained that none of the play from before would be counted towards the bonus even though I had no ability to opt in. They said there is nothing they can do about past play but they would forward my request to be opted in to the appropriate department. I never received any confirmation of anything from them so I assumed I just never got opted in and I didn't feel like arguing over it. But just noticed today that I have hefty pending DIY bonus lol.

In order. So you need to clear one bonus before moving on to the next. also i wouldnt redeem your points right now if you have bonuses, because everytime you redeem, you also have loyalty bonuses to clear before everything else.
