Poker Scene in Panama/panama City.

I was there a few months ago. Sortis Casino had one almost full table of 1/3 NL and a full table of 1/3 PLO on a Friday night 8pm if I recall correctly. I played the NL, it was not great but could have been worse. I am not aware of other games currently running in the city but I wasn't that interested finding games. I think I posted somewhere earlier that Ocean Sun seems to be dead poker wise, I believe this is still so. It seemed to be better than Sortis if you want to pick up ladies of the night tho, haha. But there are better spots elsewhere.

any updates anybody pls? i am heading to panama in september. is there any holdem running regularly there?

I was in town a couple of times recently but just briefly so didn't get to check anything out. Your best bet is probably to go to Sortis casino, that's the consistent long-running game/room in town, it's likely running. No idea if they run NL or PLO or whatever presently but starting from there you could ask around/ask other players. Most of the players are Spanish-speaking but there are English-speaking folks around. Last I looked, Ocean Sun was still dead, they replaced the poker area with even more slots but not sure the current state. Multicentro and Hilton were also dead when I checked, there may have been poker there at some point but there was surely no indication of that. I don't know royal casino that was mentioned or other places. Generally speaking be careful, central/south american games have a reputation for cheating. GL
