You weren't kidding. I got on Phenom today. The site is amazing, but unfortunately there's so few players that I can't often play at the stakes I want.

Really looking forward to when this site attracts more players, it's going to be great.

I've recently become disillusioned with Global - the rapid rise in the occurrence of software glitches during this past month - the fact that they have never even made the effort to bring support into the modern age (email response at least a day away - ridiculous) - and on and on. I guess it has just gotten old.

Hence this post seeking advice. I play mostly hi-lo games (PL or FL). A quick trip around the internet seems to suggest that the main options are Ignition, Bovada and BetOnline, as well as ACR and SportsBetting (former Chico?). I play mostly from a desktop, so don't care about the mobile app. Don't care about crypto - I just use a bank account.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bovada/ Ignition are the same site. It offers PLO8. Betonline/ Sportsbetting are also the same site (Chico network). It has PLO8 as well, but it doesn't run very often. Clubs is another possibility--games aren't always running, but they sometimes have 1-2 decent games going, although it's more common to see 6 card hi/low rather than 4 or 5 card.

Just a caution with Global. They are up to about a half dozen states which they no longer allow players from, and recently the list seems to be growing by the month. My guess - effective lobbying from various competitive factions. So just saying, it might not be worth investing your time getting up to speed with them if you have other options that you like.

p.s. Since you are from IL, you will be interested to know that coincidentally I just read in another forum that Global just started charging sales tax of around 10% (probably state plus local) on their coin package purchases. Guessing this means they have arrived at an "understanding" with the state of IL to remain "legal".

you might consider the apps: clubgg, pokerbros, etc. a legit affiliate will be able to help you find good safe spots
