Sushi looks amazing -- my favorite food. We enjoyed the omakase at Hiroyoshi more than at Kabuto.
Ada’s wine bar just put out a new menu and I’ve never eaten there so I went last night.
Wagyu air dried beef - 9/10
Dungeness crab with cucumber and curried walnuts - 7/10, horseradish was a little overpowering but interesting one
Sweet and sour squash with toasted pistachios - 7/10 not a huge squash fan but it was good
Shrimp with garlic/chile sauce - 10/10 phenomenal
Mick’s royale with cheese - 9/10 great burger with super crispy edges
$136 for 2 with a wine tasting and cocktail included. Pretty damn reasonable. They do the burger for $9 on Mondays with any drink, solid deal.
I think I'd be good with 2 plates of those shrimp.
Although that does look like one tasty burger.
Wow, that's an amazing deal. (I feel kind of privileged writing that, but most of us in this thread are.) Will definitely have to try Ada's -- time to google where it's located.
Ada’s burger one of of my favs in town. The shrimp are also amazing. I call them shrimp French toast bc the bread underneath gets that French toast like texture. Also for brunch everyday they have a Aycd sangria for couples for I think $35. Both the red and white are incredible. Very underrated spot.

that burger looks incredible
I concur...
And available with a drink at times for NINE DOLLARS?? That is insane. Angel Park was a pretty fun golf course and is right nearby, so may have to make an excursion at some point.
Staying at Aria, wanting some bomb breakfast but dont want to drive or anything like that so strip hotel rec's pref.
I will be walking over to the Wynn around 1030-11 local time, where would you recommend I go on my way? Eggslut is fire I go there often, so places aside from that.
All suggestions will be met with the utmost gratitude. If you really wanted to go above and beyond my contact info is in my bio, if you could reach out that way I'd be one happy Jew as its hard for me to check 2p2 on mobile and I wouldnt see any rec's til later.
I would also be stoked to meet one of you guys at said breakfast spot, and even would take the worst of a 65/35 flip for who pays the bill 😉 (we use an rng, 0-100, if it lands 0-65 I pay, 66-100 you pay). If there are any good places at the Wynn itself for breakfast that might be most convenient, Im never rly there at this hour so unsure with their offerings.
Just wanted to check in and say if you haven't tried Ellis Island for food, you should. My husband said he had the best omelet he's had in a very long time at the Pub, and my eggs were great (hard to mess up eggs, but it's been done). Also, The Front Yard was excellent with reasonable prices: onion rings ($9), broccolini ($10), pork belly ($14 or $15). Everything was excellent. We also ordered the brisket sliders ($15), which were fantastic, but took them to go because it was too much food. Really good draft beer was $6.50.
Here for a couple days and I love local diners. Black bear diner on Tropicana. Got a dish called the volcano that has sausage and bacon and eggs, and way too much pancakes for one person. I'm also a sucker for cheesy grits, so added that, which really was too much food. I left about a pancake on the plate.
Delicious. Grits could've been hotter and more cheesy. Service is great. Looks to be mostly locals.
Sushi neko for an early dinner. I've posted about them at least twice, and everyone knows how good they are. But just a reminder, I got lots of plates that looked like this.
30 bucks all day is still a steal. Sashimi salad, salmon center cut steak, uni, salmon belly, salmon carpaccio -- all off the premium were all great.

love to see a sushi neko reference
made me dig up my opinion from this last february
a quick apology for no images
was with a group of seven and never thought to pull my phone out
distracted by ample discussion
all opinions from last weekend ago or so
Sushi Neko AYCE
friday at lunch
inspired by the likes of mal and others above
by happenstance show up right when they open at noon,
first group seated and the staff were fantastic
30 bucks menu price because friday had been activated
leave servings on a plate pay extra
never really comes into play because service is quick and ordering three
Neko ramen is also elite tier
Finally tried Lou’s Diner.
I got Curtis’s Haystack w a side of sausage patties, was pretty good. Not great. Lady got Huevos Rancheros which was definitely better but not a favorite breakfast dish of mine. Looked like a huge line outside, but maybe waited 5 minutes for a table. Would go back and get something different, but would rather hit Omelet House instead.
that looks pretty darn delicious... but I would need three orders.
Spicy tuna looks amazing for food court
